The Team & Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. This is a generalist role responsible for delivering exceptional IT support while also building and implementing the tools needed for us to scale. This position reports to our Senior Manager of Information Technology within the Engineering Department.
The mission of the SevenRooms IT team is to provide world-class IT service to a globally distributed remote workforce with office hubs in New York, London, and Australia. Our tech stack includes: Okta, Google Workspaces, Slack, Atlassian, 1Password, macOS, Kandji, and more.
What You'll Do
- System administration of our IT SaaS tools
- Build automation to make IT processes repeatable, scalable, and secure
- Routinely contribute to our internal knowledge base and documentation
- Resolve technical IT support issues for Roomies around the world
- Reliability execute onboarding and offboarding tasks including IT orientation
- Participate in the team’s after-hours on-call schedule
- Coach less experienced team members
Who You Are
- 4+ years of IT system engineering experience
- Expertise in Google Workspace and Okta management
- Prior success building employee lifecycle automation using Okta Workflows
- In-depth experience troubleshooting macOS, iOS, & Windows devices, managed by MDM
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills
- Passion for learning and team first mindset
- Comfort working independently and unblocking yourself and others
- Preferred but not required:
- Previous work experience at a startup or other fast-paced environment
- Past experience mentoring
- Hands-on experience with our tech stack
- Working knowledge of A/V conferencing systems
- Proficiency with one or more scripting languages (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc)

- The salary range for this role is $105,000-$122,500. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
