Candidates MUST have 10 years or more strong experience in working on both waterfall and agile delivery models and projects to support our client's processes for a release value stream management tool and help establish a process maturity program across the enterprise.

Non-local, WFH in PST time zone only.

Required skills: Strong project management with working knowledge in both waterfall and agile delivery models, strong organizational change management skills, experience with new product rollouts to an organization.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced candidate for supporting implementing a release value stream management tool. In addition to the implementation, all of IT needs to be onboarded and trained on in order to start using the tool.

Client will be making process maturity improvements across the enterprise as part of a process maturity program.

This role will work/interact with 6-8 team members ~ 5ish years of Project Management experience.

Job Duties: • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. • May require a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.' • Must have a strong experience in working on both waterfall and agile delivery models and projects. • Nice to have: Knowledge of release management, release orchestration and DevOps.

Experience Required: 10+ years or more in project management.

Education Required: Degree in communications, resource planning, project management or equivalent experience.
