Job Title: Sr. Lease and Fixed Asset Accountant
Job Summary: The Sr. Lease and Fixed Asset Accountant will lead the implementation of ASC 842 and be responsible for the ongoing accounting for the organization and its subsidiaries’ leases, assets, and related financial activities.

What you’ll do
- Performs accounting for leased assets for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Prepares periodic (monthly) journal entries to recognize lease accounting and fixed asset related transactions.
- Review, record, and update the lease software for any new or modified lease contracts
- Review new contracts to assess them for embedded leases
- Maintains the fixed asset register in the ERP
- Record asset acquisitions, WIP, and asset disposals. Perform and document annual asset impairment testing.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- As appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.      Â
What you’ll bring
- Eight (8) to eleven (11) years of accounting experience required.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- Extensive knowledge of lease and fixed asset accounting.
- Complex understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Highly Proficient with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

- Base salary range: 107000.00 - 162000.00 $. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely.
