Cloudflare's Pay As You Go (PAYGO) team is growing and we're looking for a highly-motivated Lifecycle Marketing Manager to take the lead on developing and executing marketing automation campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle. Your automations and nurture campaigns will help accelerate time to value for new users, monetize free users, drive expansion, and maximize retention across our wide variety of products available on Cloudflare.com.
From strategy, execution, testing, to reporting - you'll own lifecycle automation for the PAYGO business in addition to partnering with cross-functional GTM teams on a wide range of initiatives.
What you'll do
  • Build, manage, test, and optimize multi-channel campaigns that help deliver outcomes tied to engagement and revenue using intelligent and highly personalized communications.
  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations of our new marketing platform.
  • Develop and regularly report on KPIs related to both aggregate and individual campaigns that will help key stakeholders understand the overall performance of the channels you own and your impact over time.
  • Continuously experiment and optimize existing campaigns.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop and iterate on campaigns that meet business objectives while also supporting our lifecycle marketing strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cloudflare's products, user personas, and various in-product customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with our design and product-marketing teams to make the campaigns you build compelling and beautiful.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practices, laws, and data privacy policies, and consult stakeholders on these areas.
  • Proactively monitor our deliverability and take corrective action when necessary.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Lifecyle Marketing, CRM, or Growth Marketing at SaaS companies.
  • An outcome-oriented mindset with a track record of driving actual business results (like user growth and revenue).
  • Fluency in a variety of tools commonly found in the modern marketing stack like Iterable, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc...
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build and optimize complex workflows and automations.
  • Obsessive about data and metrics and strong ability to analyze not only email data, but also clickstream data. Acronyms like CTR, CTOR, CAC, CPA, LTV, CR are not foreign to you. Ability to write SQL is a strong plus.
  • Ability to create new email templates in a pinch - knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email frameworks like Foundation or MJML a plus.
  • Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $149,000 - $183,000.

[Commissions: If applicable include this line:] This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range in Colorado includes the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan.
Equity
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
