About this position

The Sr. Manager, BI and Analytics will be a leader focused on enabling a fast-paced data driven culture at Plexus. This individual will lead a team of analysts providing, metrics, modeling, reports, dashboards, and business intelligence to support management decision-making. The successful candidate will be a collaborative partner that translates requests into requirements and data into insights. The Sr. Manager will need to have thought leadership to influence and communicate recommendations for improvement to processes and capabilities especially as it relates to build out of data warehouse. The Sr. Manager will interact with; Marketing, Sales, Finance, I.T., and C-Level Executives

What you'll do

• Provide leadership, vision, and management for the business analytics team. Including prioritizing the workload of the team and adjusting priority as needed.
• Utilizes technical skills to create, manage, and support analytic solutions based on business requirements.
• Independently creates, views and extracts data from multiple systems to deliver reports that provide key
• insight to Plexus leadership. Develops and updates technical documentation.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining standards for business intelligence tools, processes and data.
• Develop analytics roadmap and strategy within Plexus and work with IT as needed to implement.
• Understand goals, drivers and processes and provide actionable insights to executives.
• Work with Data Science and Engineering teams to align on single source of truth and implement data governance best practices.
• Design an advanced method of analyzing sales, incentives, commissions and operational performance at a global scale with efficiency and automation.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to build a consistent process for intake, validation and presentation of data driven insights.
• Identify and create state-of-the-art modeling and analysis tools while providing technical guidance to team members on modeling techniques, data mining, statistical analysis on data or analytics requests.
• Drive a deeper understanding of growth drivers from our product assortment mix; analyzing sales and profit contribution margins for each product category.
• Develop analytics and visualization tools to share insights on sales, incentives, customer acquisition, lifetime value and other key metrics that help the company target the highest leverage opportunities
• Design Tableau dashboards to focus on KPI's with drill-down capabilities to understand root causes/issues

You should have

• 8+ years of data/business analysis for a sales organization.
• 5+ years writing SQL at a highly proficient level. 2+ years creating Tableau dashboards. 2+ years of managing a team of data or financial analysts
• Preferred Experience: Network Marketing, Industry. Knowledge of data warehouse design and architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Computer Science or related field
• Preferred Education : Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Computer Science or related field.

Special Skills

Possess a Data Scientist mindset with demonstrated experience in predictive analytics. Knowledge of Information Systems and financial analysis as well as solid understanding of overall business operations and adept at presenting complex and critical projects. Requires strong computer knowledge including financial systems and database applications to include proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, PowerPoint, Tableau, data warehousing, data mining, business intelligence, and other financial systems. Ability to communicate and present. results to different audiences at various levels throughout the organization. Candidate must possess leadership qualities and accountability. Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment. Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic work environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills and competency presenting complex data to all levels.
