About this position

Sr. Manager, BI, and Analytics will be a leader focused on enabling a fast-paced data-driven culture at Plexus. This individual will lead a team of analysts providing metrics, modeling, reports, dashboards, and business intelligence to support management decision-making. Additionally, Sr. Manager will interact with; Marketing, Sales, Finance, I.T., and C-Level Executives.

What you'll do

• You provide leadership, vision, and management for the business analytics team, including prioritizing the team's workload and adjusting priority as needed.
• You utilize technical skills to create, manage, and support analytic solutions based on business requirements.
• You independently create views and extract data from multiple systems to deliver reports that provide key insight to Plexus leadership.
• You develop and update technical documentation.
• You're responsible for developing and maintaining standards for business intelligence tools, processes, and data.
• You develop an analytics roadmap and strategy within Plexus and work with I.T. as needed to implement.
• You understand goals, drivers, and processes and provide actionable insights to executives.
• You work with Data Science and Engineering teams to align on a single source of truth and implement data governance best practices.
• You design an advanced method of analyzing sales, incentives, commissions, and operational performance at a global scale with efficiency and automation.
• You collaborate with internal and external business partners to build a consistent process for collecting, validating, and presenting data-driven insights.
• You identify and create state-of-the-art modeling and analysis tools while providing technical guidance to team members on modeling techniques, data mining, and statistical analysis on data or analytics requests.
• You drive a deeper understanding of growth drivers from our product assortment mix, analyzing sales and profit contribution margins for each product category.
• You develop analytics and visualization tools to share insights on sales, incentives, customer acquisition, lifetime value, and other key metrics that help the company target the highest leverage opportunities.
• You design Tableau dashboards to focus on KPIs with drill-down capabilities to understand root causes/issues.

You should have

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• You have Eight or more years of data/business analysis for a sales organization. Experience in Direct Sales Industry preferred
• You have five or more years of writing SQL at a highly proficient level. You know, data warehouse design and architecture are preferred.
• You have 2+ years of experience creating Tableau dashboards.
• You are a thought leader and have 2+ years of managing a team of data or financial analysts.
• You possess a Data Scientist mindset with demonstrated experience in predictive analytics.
• You know Information Systems and financial analysis and have a solid understanding of overall business operations, and you are adept at presenting complex and critical projects.
• You have strong computer knowledge, including financial systems and database applications, including proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, PowerPoint, Tableau, data warehousing, data mining, business intelligence, and other financial systems.
• You can communicate to different audiences at various levels throughout the organization.
• You possess leadership qualities and accountability.
• You can collaborate and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic work environment.
