Sr. Manager, Channel Development Partner Enablement (Remote)

Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Professional: Channel Development & Partner Enablement, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with sales director on channel development strategy, reviewing and adjusting as needed to drive goals as well as new initiatives
- Managing applicable contracts, SOW, invoicing for contractor
- Overseeing sales execution across the sellers focused on unmanaged partners. Enabling, developing, training and onboarding. Constructing a modern channel framework that is data-driven to enable tiering, planning and enablement
- Working with sales operations team to track pipeline, forecast and contribution to demand planning.
- Aligning with NSP and SCP sales leads to align role and responsibilities of inside sales support representatives
- Collaborating with vertical end user team leads to drive incremental demand and revenue from target resellers in strategic verticals
- The overall objective is to drive a greater awareness and acceptance of Samsung's full product portfolio with our Mobile Platform that includes ChromeBook, Hand Held Phones, Tablets, Wearables and various software and services into strategic accounts while achieving sales targets across Samsung product categories
- Focusing on solutions and value-add for partner community
- Recruiting partners that fit Samsung strategy, onboarding them successfully, mapping these partners to success
- Leveraging Ascend program for meaningful support that cultivates growth and lasting success
- Developing turn-key channel sales organization that is guided by analytics and predictability
- Help decrease dependency on BO managed business by developing a strong foundation of transactional sales in mid-market and SMB
- Leverage your expertise and relationships across account operations, marketing, sales, strategic business units
- Advocate for partners across key Samsung business functions to solidly align joint go-to-market objectives and strategies including supply chain, marketing, product and sales
- Directly engaging partners; specifically fostering strong, trusted relationships with customers in respective accounts in order to successfully position Samsung's portfolio (H/W, S/W, Services)
- Be single point of contact for all account matters, connecting resources across both organizations in order to build strong, mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Programmatically manage outsourced account - Orchestrate communications, sales promotion development, and training as required to stimulate awareness and facilitate the sale of Samsung's Hardware, Solutions and Services
- Creating account plan, scorecard, monthly updates and quarterly business reviews through visual tools (PowerPoint etc.) and presenting to internal/external leadership
- Performing long range planning (1 to 3 years) to drive revenue growth by increasing product placement, driving customer satisfaction and overall market share growth against assigned sales targets
- Establishing high-level, as well as tactical, relationships with colleagues supporting key routes to market, technical sales, marketing and product management teams
- Managing cross-functional teams towards the launch and promotion of new solutions.
- Mobilizing internal and external resources in response to customer requirements necessary to drive growth and solutions.
- Understanding and navigating Samsung's global infrastructure and bringing appropriate resources to bear in support of customers.
- Making decisions in accordance with Samsung guidelines and policies
- Maintaining working knowledge of all Mobile Hardware - Mobile Phones, Tablets, Wearables, PC, Chromebook and blended Solutions, Software and Services and market trends and then deliver them into your accounts
Skills and Qualifications
- 12+ years of Channel Experience with a focus on Channel Development.
- Experience leading sales teams and sales support teams
- Proven track record with sustained minimum revenues of $50M+ annually
- Strong knowledge of mobile products and solutions
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as with existing sales team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel to support sellers and partners including events (up to 70% of the time)
- The ability to move and transport equipment (under 75lbs) is required
- Operational knowledge working on a CRM platform
- Microsoft Office skills required

- Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed.
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
- Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
- The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
- The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
- Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
- The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
- Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
- Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
- Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
- Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions. Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company's competitive position.
