About the Role

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Compensation to join our People Team. The Sr. Manager, Compensation will support Total Rewards Programs and collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure Glassdoor maintains and evolves its ever-expanding compensation philosophy. We believe a successful candidate will be proficient in broad-based and variable compensation programs, serve as a market pricing and survey management expert, have some Workday knowledge, be self-motivated, be detail oriented, be highly analytical, be consultative, and be able to drive scalable processes.

What You'll Do
  • Run and lead all compensation programs and processes to drive business results and ensure Glassdoor is positioned for to be a market leader.
  • Lead and handle all operational efforts for the Bi-annual Focal Review process which includes annual merit, bonus and RSU programs. Works with a wide variety of collaborators to deliver a flawless and timely process.
  • Lead all aspects of the market pricing work effort to ensure jobs are priced accurately and positioned in line with the broader compensation philosophy.
  • Serve as a Compensation advisor to the business, Talent Acquisition, and the PPE team to serve as an advisor on routine compensation-related activities, including new hire offers, promotions and salary adjustments are fair, market driven, and fiscally sound.
  • Handle the daily duties of the Compensation Analyst to ensure the timely and accurate participation in compensation surveys, routine market pricing to assess pay trends, and develop recommendations for updates to job descriptions, salary structures, incentive targets, and other programs to ensure premium positioning.
  • Partner with People Tech on the improvement, performance, administration and maintenance of Workday as it pertains to Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules
What You'll Bring

  • College degree in Business or Finance. We are willing to consider a variety of backgrounds.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in compensation, finance or collaborating with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and standard methodologies.
  • Deep and extensive experience with maintaining and coordinating broad-based compensation structures and incentive plan design/administration
  • Very strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for implementing and auditing work
  • Highly effective at collaborating with peers and leaders to build consensus and develop solutions
  • Desire to be hands on leader.
  • Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range*: $176,000.00-$264,000.00

  • Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.

Annual Bonus Target**: 15%

**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews

Generous Restricted Stock Units (RSU):

***Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, there are additional RSU grant awards for the very top performers.
