About The Role:
As a Senior Manager of Conversion Rate Optimization, your primary objective will be to lead and optimize the conversion rates across our digital channels. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance user experience, remove barriers to conversion, and maximize online performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (marketing ops, performance marketing, brand managers), you will employ data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities, conduct A/B and multivariate testing, and drive continuous optimization efforts. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in digital marketing, data analysis, and a passion for optimizing conversion rates.
**This position requires someone to be on-site/hybrid, 3 days a week in Austin, TX**
Primary Objectives:
- Develop and execute comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies across all Auctane brands globally to drive improved conversion rates across our digital properties
- Collaborate with and project manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on optimization initiatives and improve the user journey across various touchpoints.
- Lead and manage CRO agency relationship(s), holding them accountable against goals set, and ensure their delivery against our strategic goals; providing leadership and performance feedback.
- Conduct thorough analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, and website performance using data-driven insights for the purpose of identifying barriers and friction points in the conversion process and implement actionable solutions to optimize user experience and drive conversions
- Backlog plan, project manage, and execute A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses, measure the impact of optimization efforts, and continuously refine conversion strategies
- Proactively report and present on experimentation results to cross-functional stakeholders, including executive team members
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic CRO roadmap in alignment with Auctane marketing and business objectives and goals
- Utilize analytical tools (Google Analytics, Segment, Looker, and others) to conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, and website performance to identify and address barriers and friction points in the conversion process to optimize user experience and drive higher conversion rates.
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of optimization efforts.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to conversion rates, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in conversion rate optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable reports and presentations, highlighting conversion rate optimization performance and recommendations for improvement.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on conversion rate optimization, user experience, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record of successfully roadmapping, implementing, and managing CRO initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements in conversion rates and business outcomes through A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.
- Expert proficiency in A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize
- Working knowledge within data analysis tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, etc.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively utilizing strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and data-driven insights to diverse stakeholders (including executive)
What will Make You Stand Out:
- Previous experience managing global CRO efforts across difference languages, localization
- Strong project planner; collaborates well with others at all levels
- Front-end Development experience (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Previous experience working in Jira and a Scrum/sprinting environment
