Sr. Manager, Customer Acquisition
Job Description
- Work with Risk, Operations, Compliance and Legal teams to develop and execute complex direct mail and acquisition email campaigns across multiple lending products and brands.
- Manage a complete marketing calendar of all direct mail and digital campaigns to drive originations
- Introduce new variables to test to improve overall response rates: creative, offer, inserts, envelopes, lists, etc.
- Manage creative development, review, approval, and execution with product teams, legal, compliance, and agency partners within tight timelines
- Lead day-to-day coordination of multiple third-party partners including letter shops, printers, agencies and external data providers to ensure timely completion of campaigns.
- Work with Senior Marketing and Product leadership team in developing strategic communication plans and comprehensive project management timelines to guide campaign strategy and planning.
- Work closely with Product Leaders and Operations to identify enhancements in customer experience to drive improved overall campaign performance.
- Analyze campaign results, translating insights into improvements in creative, audience targeting, landing page modifications, and other enhancements to continuously improve performance.
- Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance
- Manage multiple marketing initiatives and ensure all deadlines are met
- Additional projects and test campaigns as requested
Experience and Education
- 8+ years marketing experience with particularly strong focus on leading and executing complex, multi-variable direct mail and email campaigns for new customer acquisition
- Knowledge of direct mail and email best practices, testing methodologies and key success drivers
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required - graduate degree is a plus
- Experience with managing USPS postage: CAPS, EPS, Permits, Mailer ID's, etc.
- Experience directing external agencies, data providers, consultants and media platforms
- Ability to use Excel to forecast and analyze campaign metrics is required.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics required, experience in Heap Analytics a plus
- Demonstrated experience in project management and timeline management
- Experience with pre-qualified (prescreened) offers of credit or comparable financial services marketing experience is highly desirable
