Position Summary: The Sr. Manager Demand Generation owns the strategy for Republic Services' demand generation through proposing new insight-based campaigns, developing and implementing programs as well as evaluating results for further optimization. Ensures campaigns and partnerships drive toward customer acquisition, retention and customer experience improvement goals. This role utilizes their expertise in paid media (SEM, Programmatic, Content Syndication, Social, etc.) to develop and implement campaigns including B2B and B2C growth, partnership marketing, talent acquisition and retention.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Functional leader of the Demand Generation team
  • Leads strategy and implementation of integrated demand and retention-based campaigns including paid media recommendations, oversight, reporting and optimization
  • Proposes new programs based on business insights that will help achieve company goals
  • Manages program budgets and objectives, ensuring spending is maintained within approved levels while meeting ROI goals
  • Analyzes campaigns regularly, reports insights and provides recommendations for improvements
  • Works collaboratively with the organization, including across departments to ensure campaigns accomplish agreed upon goals
  • Performs executive level strategy and campaign performance report outs
  • Manages and is liaison to external agencies related to demand generation
  • Inspires others to achieve challenging goals, deliver a high standard of performance while effectively leveraging resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
  • Stays current on paid media trends and identifies opportunities for testing
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

Qualifications

  • Ability to self-manage, plan, execute and prioritize multiple programs and projects
  • This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office four days a week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to sell his/her vision as a persuasive, well-organized and compelling presenter

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in demand generation, campaign management or paid media management
  • 3 years of direct team management fostering team career development and encouraging a high standard of performance
  • 3 years of leading and directing cross-functional teams, using influence instead of authority to support decision-making processes
