The Senior Manager - Digital Marketing will lead a team of analysts and oversee the planning, development, and execution of inbound and outbound digital marketing efforts via Web properties, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), online affiliates, mobile & emerging online channels, gifting, and email.
Responsibilities
- Defines and oversees the enterprise digital strategy, encompassing all public (Web sites, landing pages, microsites, social sites) and traffic flow to private (customer portal, partner portal, sales portal) Web properties; paid and earned digital media; and all supporting infrastructure (Web content management, analytics, social platforms, ESP, gifting & digital to offline engagement)
- People leader responsibilities to manage duties for the team including career development, project, task and work support and assignment, goal setting and tracking, providing coaching and feedback, regular communication, and individual meetings, managing personnel related items as well as budget management
- Manage corporate Web properties to support the company's business objectives (e.g., revenue, qualified leads, brand presence, awareness)
- Manage SEO/SEM efforts
- Use digital metrics (e.g., site traffic, visitor paths, conversion rates) to optimize online marketing spend
- Test the performance of landing pages, special promotions, content, and product placement
- Coordinate with corporate marketing, field marketing and communications to align online activity with broader campaign initiatives
- Establish digital program measurement methodology and analyze results in terms of ROI and success criteria (attraction, engagement, qualification, acceleration)
- Set inbound lead goals and measure results
- Oversee media spend and search against performance metrics to optimize results
- Develop buyer-centric Web site navigation
- Partner with ABM leads to support 1:1 and cross-channel ABM programs including paid ads, custom landing pages, targeted content bundles and unique digital experiences supporting the full buying journey.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or similar field
- 8+ years' experience in online marketing experience with a strong focus on analytics, esp. web and mobile, inclusive of B2B social media and/or SEO/SEM experience
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Experience optimizing Web sites for branding and demand creation objectives
- Development of integrated marketing programs that combine inbound and outbound tactics
- Advanced knowledge of web content management
- Advanced knowledge of web optimization tools (e.g., reverse IP, real-time data appending)
- Familiarity and experience with reporting tools and methodologies
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional ability to communicate across stakeholders
- Experience with developing go to marketing plans
- Ability to manage the daily execution and monitoring of multiple performance media plan
- Proactive, motivated, self-starter with the ability to lead, mentor, develop and manage others
Desired:
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field
- Pardot Marketing Automation System experience
- International and/or global experience
- Previous experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Experience managing agency relationships strongly desirable
- Experience with headless CMS
