Vaxcyte, headquartered in San Carlos, CA, went public in June 2020 and currently has a team of approximately 180 employees and anticipates continued, significant growth. Summary:

The Senior Manager Enterprise Systems IT role serves as a program manager and techno-functional expert for Vaxcyte’s current and future enterprise applications and related technologies. Working closely with business and managed services partners, this role is responsible for helping implement, manage, and maintain Vaxcyte’s Enterprise Systems. While technical in nature, this role drives business value by blending technology expertise, program management and business process know-how. This is a hands-on role that reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise IT Systems at Vaxcyte’s San Carlos, California headquarters.

Essential Functions:

• Provide program management and technical oversight for ERP evaluation project.
• Program management and technical oversight for implementation and support of iPaaS tool.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with Enterprise Systems business partners.
• Create and maintain system-specific IT documentation such as operating procedures, templates, design standards and forms.
• Manage SOX controls required for Enterprise Systems
• Provide project management support for new initiatives and enhancement efforts.
• Formalize and facilitate change intake and Change Review Board processes.
• Oversee end-to-end change control activities for configuration changes and platform upgrades.
• Support SOX or other audits when required.
• Manage assigned Enterprise System related budget and procurement.
• Support development of a multi-year Enterprise Systems technology investment roadmap.
• Configure and customize supported Enterprise applications to meet business requirements.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by performing regular data audits and implementing data validation rules.
• Triage, troubleshoot and help resolve issues related to Enterprise applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide solutions using Enterprise applications.
• Train users and provide ongoing support for various Enterprise Applications
• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, and configuration activities.
• Coordinate with managed services, business partners and assurance teams to implement planned releases and functional change requests.
• Assist with end-user and business owner training, including creation of training materials.
• Plan and conduct requisite periodic reviews and related compliance activities.
• Work with IT Operations to support provisioning and de-provisioning efforts. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Multiple ERP systems implementation experience (preferably SAP or Oracle).
• iPaaS tool implementation experience (e.g. Boomi, Workato, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience with ERP systems.
• 10+ years of total IT Systems experience.
• 5+ years program management experience.
• Biotechnology company experience.
• As is/to be process mapping and analysis.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues including root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Technical writing skills for updating SOPs, WI, Knowledgebase articles etc.

Compensation:

The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.

Salary Range: $188,000 – $202,000
