Sr. Manager, Finance

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Manager, Finance to join a global medical technology company committed to the promise of digital surgery. Surgalign is an emerging medical technology leader; first in the spine industry, tripling the business over the past five years; and now we are building out our digital surgery platform. We are advancing the science of spine care, focused on delivering innovative solutions that drive superior clinical outcomes. We do this with a broad portfolio of spinal hardware devices and orthobiologic materials. About the Role: The Sr. Finance Manager should have developed expertise in the area of financial analyses, financial reporting, financial modeling, financial systems, and business decision support. They may also require skills in direct employee management. They may manage/carry out responsibilities in some or all of the areas outlined below:

What You Will Do For Us:

• Free cash flow management (cost savings, analysis, decision support, controls)
• Financial planning (multi-year Strategic / Business Planning, Operating Plan, Quarterly Re-forecasting, Balance Sheet-P&L-Cash Flows)
• Business segment profitability analysis
• Analyst consensus & guidance modeling
• Competitor benchmarking & modeling
• M&A support
• Financial system build-out and maturity (Reporting & Planning)
• Staff Analyst direct management
• ERP development project support
• Corporate Insurance & Facilities management support

• Ability to understand the strategic direction of the company recommending optimized resource allocation
• High-level organization skills-building strong relationships to drive consensus and aligned decision-making
• Strong detail-orientation required
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written technical communication skills
• Good coordination skills and teamwork spirit
• Ability to travel

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A and Accounting
• 5+ years of Management Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader and team player
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

Education/Experience Preferred:

• CPA and/or Master's Degree preferred
• Medical device or spine industry experience
• Advanced Excel knowledge with experience in Power Query functionality within Excel
• SAP and/or SAP S4 Hana experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work: Prolonged periods of sitting & physically handle objects up to 10 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment:

Office Setting - Open layout with assigned workstation or office; hybrid
