In addition to QINLOCK, we have identified and advanced multiple product candidates from our platform into clinical studies, including vimseltinib and DCC-3116.

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead full P&L consolidations and reporting. Additionally, this role will serve as a finance business partner to the Tech Ops team.
This position will report to the Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and work out of our Waltham, MA office. Deciphera embraces a flexible workplace that accommodates a mix of in-office and home office work. You will work out of our Waltham, Massachusetts office on a regular basis and Deciphera may expect a minimum number of in-office days. Specific days spent in the office should be determined in conjunction with your manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as primary administrator of Adaptive Insights financial planning system, including managing consolidations of total company operating expenses
- Assist in preparation of full P&L reporting for senior management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors
- Operationalize company-wide operating expense planning (annual budget and quarterly reforecasts) and FP&A month-end close processes, including creation of budgeting tools/templates and maintenance of timelines and calendar
- Prepare cash flow forecast to support cash runway planning
- Partner with Tech Ops budget owners to build annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for external expenses
- Lead analysis of Tech Ops financial results versus plan and forecasts, investigations of significant variances, and communication of findings to departments and senior management
- Manage to Board of Directors approved annual budget for Tech Ops, including facilitating tradeoff discussions in collaboration with other FP&A team members as business priorities change
- Drive month-end close activities by working in close collaboration with the Tech Ops and accounting teams to develop accruals and improve accrual processes
- Proactively identify areas for operational efficiencies and lead change management and process improvement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A in the biopharmaceutical industry required
- Proficient in Excel, Oracle Fusion, and Adaptive Insights
- FP&A experience in a commercial biotechnology or pharmaceutical company preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspectiveÂ
- Ability to juggle short-term requests with long term priorities and goals
- Strong business acumen, judgment, and professionalism
- Well-developed collaboration and communication skills a must
