The Team:
We are a small but passionate team of 200+ based in the Bay Area. Aisera’s seasoned founding team has led companies through several prior successful startups and acquisitions. In this role:
You will be reporting to VP, Finance & Corporate Controller, and will work closely with business partners, and senior management to facilitate our rapid growth. You will also work with them to manage their budgets and forecasts, and report the actual vs. budget on regular basis. You will also facilitate communications across the organization, delivering insightful analyses and reports to internal and external parties, and work closely with our accounting team and sales finance team on the reporting granularity.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Sales Ops team to ensure accuracy in our data (ARR, funnel data, etc.) and to drive analysis that will impact our GTM efforts (e.g. funnel conversions, sales efficiency, net dollar retention, etc.)
- Support build of reporting dashboards and KPIs to provide actionable insights to business partners across R&D, GTM and G&A
- Enable the business to hit annual top line and bottom line target
- Create the annual and quarterly budget for each department and consolidated level
- Weekly / monthly report the operational dashboard and financial metrics to each department leader
- Coordinate and prepare materials for executive review, including Board meetings
- Monthly and quarterly close and forecasting activities; financial variance analyses from budget to actual, highlight risks & opportunities, headcount variances
- Create customized reports in NetSuite to facilitate the budget to actual analysis from granular level to summary level
- Leading ad hoc analysis to help evaluate new initiatives such as new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, pricing and packaging, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of finance experience and a minimum of 2 years of FP&A experience in the tech industry, SaaS company experience preferred
- Degree in finance or related field with sufficient finance experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
- A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex finance models and route cause analysis
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology
- Self-driven, keen to learn new things, and provide good suggestions upward for process improvement
- Solid skills in FP&A analysis tool (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive, Vareto), Salesforce, and experience with accounting ERP (NetSuite) is a plus
- Expert in word, excel, and PowerPoint
