Sr. Manager, FP&A Performance Management - Agri

Position Objective:

This role supports and leads the financial planning and performance management processes to drive performance optimization for the Agri external reporting segment of the company (primarily focused on Processing sub-segment), including coordinating the monthly and quarterly performance cycle and analysis, forecast cycle, long term strategic modeling, portfolio reviews and projects design and execution. The role will support the analysis of financial and operational results to inform and assist in the preparation of the quarterly earnings press release. The role will assist the department's mandate to oversee governance, reporting, and tracking for external and internal KPIs and metrics.

Supporting the preparation of compelling presentation materials to support the CEO, CFO, SVP-FP&A, VP-Investor Relations and other senior leaders would be a key ongoing objective (eg: Board meetings, Earnings guidance, Investor updates, ExCo/SMM meetings, etc).

Together with the area director, provides thought leadership to build and keep a simple, streamlined yet effective performance reporting & management framework for the company, providing direction to other finance and commercial functions related to Performance Management in St. Louis, Missouri.

Core Functions:

Performance Management Governance• Support the creation and delivery of prescriptive, streamlined, and effective formats for performance management analysis for use across all business units and value chains, including developing an assessment of the existing analytical/reporting/forecasting systems landscape, evaluating potential alternatives to address gaps/shortcomings, and helping blueprint/build the new analytical/forecasting capabilities.• Support initiatives to improve global governance, standardization, and explanations of economic results; including both manual and automated tracking of structural, trading, and MTM carve out calculation.• Interact directly with the CFO and SVPs, Global FP&A on various ad-hoc questions arising on a day-to-day basis. Liaise with Corporate Functions and Value Chain Management and Finance Partners as necessary. • Assist in the tracking of internal and external reporting metrics and KPIs including coordinating, building, and maintaining reporting hierarchies to align with an evolving organization structure and service delivery model.

Monthly / Quarterly Performance Management Cycle• Prepare analysis of monthly results, understanding differences versus benchmarks (i.e. forecast or prior year) and trends; highlighting risks and opportunities and distributing a snapshot of key information to Bunge's leaders and other key stakeholders.• Revise and prepare quarterly FP&A deliverables, supporting the Earnings Call process, completing in depth analysis for the assigned reporting segment, ensuring reports and key messages are clearly and concisely delivered to the CEO, CFO, and Investor Relations. Responsible to deliver earnings guidance (EBIT / EPS / ROIC), for internal and external meetings, and other metrics analysis included in Earnings Presentations.• Analyze financial estimates and assumptions submitted by value chain and business units, testing and challenging the data provided to improve the quality of the final submission and that messaged are aligned across the external reporting segment.• Support the preparation of the Performance Reports, distributed to leaders and Board on a regular basis. Report highlights, industry overview, detailed monthly analysis, forecast, OPWC, cash flow, expenses, etc. • Liaise with the Global Treasury, Controlling, Capital Investments, and Operational Expense Management teams, coordinating FP&A deliverables and alignment.• Responsible for coordinating and revising the submission and reporting of the Commercial P&L or other specific reporting as required for the external reporting segment• Improve the performance management process and deliverables by streamlining materials and tools to enhance the quality of the data

Forecasting Process• Assist in coordination of overall guidance and policy assumptions for building and submission of forecasts. Support overall submission by all Agribusiness Value Chains. Coordinate input, support and oversight with Corporate functions related to the forecasts, liaising with responsible from Tax, Controlling, Treasury, HR and any other required function• Coordinate with Value Chain and Business Unit Finance Leads on key forecast drivers and submission requirements• Analyze financial estimates and assumptions submitted by value chains and business units, testing and challenging the data provided to improve the quality of the final submission• Ensure consistency and accuracy of the forecasts (involving finance partners, tax and treasury if necessary)• Support Corporate FP&A team in consolidating Bunge's global forecast, with focus on EBIT, ROIC and EPS. Support the preparation of a monthly report to the global leadership team.• Improve and simplify existing financial planning processes, decreasing the workload and enhancing the quality of the deliverables.

Strategic Financial Model• Support coordination, within Corporate and Commercial functions, to build and update the consolidated global Strategic Financial Model. Maintain calendar for execution and update of the plan regularly. • Coordinate and support the preparation of the high level, multi-year projections as requested by Management, including maintaining the financial model that supports the strategic plan and providing scenario planning and analysis of earnings power, portfolio updates, and growth potential.• Analyze financial estimates and assumptions submitted by value chains and business units, testing and challenging the data provided using market and internal analysis information to improve the quality of the final submission.• Ensure consistency and accuracy of plans (involving finance partners, tax and treasury if necessary)• Prepare and present the model assumptions, projections and take-aways for review by SVPs and CFO, delivering the materials to be also used by CEO, Executive Committee, Board and Investors calls.• Creation and maintenance of a business roadmap of historical performance, trends, and drivers including a database of key metrics and data points to support the on-going strategic planning process.

Other• Provide direct support where needed to the CFO and other Corporate functions in preparing information for the investor community, including earnings call and other events (e.g., shareholder meetings, etc.), the executive committee, the board, or other needs related to financial planning and financial performance• OneStream System - Support Corporate FP&A activities related to enhancing the utilization of the financial consolidation tool, work on the design and implementation of reports and processes. Work closely with other areas to ensure consistency across functions to deliver system requirements• Prepare analysis and benchmark against BG results competitors that operate in the same industry and subset of the defined external reporting segments; provide analysis and benchmarking to Management and other stakeholders• In connection with the Strategic Financial Model, prepare annual analysis, models, and documentation to support the annual goodwill impairment test for the Agribusiness segment• Conduct special studies and analyses as requested by senior management and the Board

Skills/Experience Requirements:• Minimum BS; MBA preferred• Minimum of six years of previous working experience in either relevant Industry or Finance-related functions.• Ability to effectively manage and guide teams.• Ability to work independently, maintain objectivity and deliver results• Strong leadership and influence management skills • Strong communication skills; ability to articulate complex matters/issues in a clear and concise manner• Solid knowledge of financial performance analysis tools and techniques• Ability to think creatively and identify/explore alternatives• Ability to think at both strategic and operational levels• Knowledge of Accounting, Tax and Treasury (including capital structures, financing, and foreign exchange)• Fluency in English; other languages (especially Spanish/Portuguese) a plus
