GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carrier Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Global Upgrades Program Manager to lead aftermarket upgrades (includes Healthy Buildings offerings and digital-enabled revenue) growth in the global service business segment. This includes rollouts and promoting upgrades growth initiatives, working with regional teams to achieve targeted upgrades LRP (Long-Range Planning) sales growth, and ensuring quality delivery. This role could be based in US or
Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Global Service Product Manager, Digital Service & Engineering to support the development of the upgrade programs.
- Be the voice for all regions in the areas of upgrades product offering needs and opportunities.
- Be the chief educator of upgrades initiatives by working with the regional team to promote upgrades solutions through customer training, seminars, and webinars.
- Work with regional upgrades SMEs, Global Service Product Manager, and service marketing to develop and roll out educational and marketing content for upgrades campaigns.
- Constantly engage with marketing to track/review customer experience of upgrade offerings and implement campaigns/customer engagement programs to improve sales.
- Engage with marketing and product management to develop a roadmap of sales and marketing content/resources to facilitate GTM and sales.
- Collaborate with the Global Service Product Manager, Digital Service & Engineering to implement effective sales training and selling tools.
- Engage with Global Service Product Manager to ensure the implementation of strategic pricing in the regions.
- Analyze and monitor global and regional regulatory trends and competitive activity within the aftermarket, and lead/influence the rolling out of offerings that are impactful to business objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing to identify regional best practices and promote scalable adoptions across the globe.
- Work with regional growth leaders and upgrades vertical leaders to align on LRP plans with key initiatives entitlement and prioritized upgrading packages from IB opportunities and organize monthly review to track pipelines/key initiatives orders growth and sales performance of identified opportunities. To offer guidance on overcoming regions' challenges on sales activations and customer activations, including best practices sharing, sales resources support, sales up-skill activities and customer educational programs, etc.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Recognized within the organization as a thought leader in expertise with service upgrades or solutions sales
- Owns and develops critical strategic and operational goals which have a significant impact on the achievement of results
- Influences business decisions made by executive leadership
- Problems faced are complex and require extensive investigation/analysis
- Communicates with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization; conducts briefings with senior leaders in and outside of job function
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years' experience in an HVAC or Commercial OEM product distribution environment
- 3 + years of Aftermarket Service Repairs / Modernization related direct sales or accounts/sales management experience
- Ability to travel internationally for extended trips
- Travel Requirements: 20 - 25%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of commercial applied HVAC market, hydronic systems, and products
- Ability to lead and work in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a combination of business acumen, industry experience, technical and interpersonal skills
- Experience with program management and a proven record as an effective leader/influencer
- Mechanical Engineering or HVAC related discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science/Technology field
