What's The Role About:
Puffco is seeking a highly driven Sr. Manager of Growth & CRM with a track record and proven methods scaling user bases through a variety of acquisition tactics to help us achieve our ambitious goals. As part of our digital leadership team this role will oversee both paid and organic growth strategies, including all paid acquisition strategies, as well as driving investment and innovation to Puffco's organic growth strategies. We're looking for someone who gets energized scaling new and existing acquisition channels and can rally others toward exciting and challenging growth goals. This role will lead Puffco's CRM strategy.
This role reports to the EVP of digital. It is based out of our Los Angeles HQ and requires in office work 2-3 days per week.

Some things you will be responsible for:
- You will grow the user base driving customer acquisition and retention - You must have a sharp eye for data analysis, measuring results against key metrics including conversion rates, new buyers, Customer Acquisition Cost, LTV, and ROI
- Create, manage, and execute a comprehensive user acquisition strategy across paid and organic that is communicated and aligned on across key stakeholders
- Lead and deliver high impact acquisition channels, projects, and initiatives-including paid flights, affiliate marketing, digital marketing, go-to-market support, and targeted campaigns
- Oversee the end-to-end Email & SMS campaigns process from ideation to implementation, including integrated calendar planning & management, creative development, audience segmentation, platform deployment and post-campaign reporting & analytics.
- Partner with Finance and Analytics teams to drive deeper understanding of our acquisition and user data to improve LTV:CAC and growth
- Lead strategic channel expansion through robust experimentation in new channels leveraging customer insights, A/B testing and overall communication strategy across funnel
- Drive deep understanding of our current and prospective customer base to optimize current and new marketing channels to ensure we acquire high-quality customers
- Partner with Creative team to run an always-on creative testing agenda across all channels and get data-driven insights on messaging and visual design
- Partner with our internal Web team and external contractors to develop, implement, and optimize a scalable SEO strategy that will deliver ongoing organic subscribers
- Nurture a strong culture of constant testing and iteration across Marketing and key stakeholders
- Invest in continued development of our attribution and understanding of paid channel impact
- Build forecasts and predict marketing channel performance using cohort analyses
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in customer acquisition spanning both paid and organic growth
- Deep experience across paid media, affiliate marketing, and CRM across multiple channels and tactics
- Strong analytical acumen and a data driven mindset with experience in data attribution
- Innovative growth hacker who constantly explores opportunities and experimentation to drive incremental revenue, top-of-funnel customer acquisition, and mid-end funnel conversion / LTV
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (growth stage startup or similar)
- Willingness to both delegate to team members, as well as roll up your sleeves and jump in
- Ability to develop deep collaborative relationships across multiple teams and flex leadership and communication style
- Bias toward action and testing - you're constantly learning and pushing to try new approaches and channels
- Strong understanding of customer funnels, A/B testing, and core user metrics
- Proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with niche consumer products and markets is a strong plus
