Job Description
Hi, I’m Charlie, Director, Total Rewards here at Customer.io and I’m looking for a Sr. Manager, HR Data and Systems to join our growing People Ops team.
The Sr. Manager, HR Data and Systems will lead and maintain our HR systems, data and workflows. We are seeking someone with experience implementing new HRIS systems and utilizing HR data to make more informed decisions. This position partners closely with Accounting, senior HR leadership, and the rest of our People team.
What you’ll do…HR Systems
- Lead our HRIS implementation efforts ensuring cross functional input and testing efforts.
- Manage employee lifecycle programs such as merit increases, performance reviews, time keeping, etc. within our HRIS.
- Continually review and suggest enhancements to our HRIS platforms based on external research, known best practices and internal feedback.
- Be the main point of contact for questions or requests from the organization relative to our HRIS ecosystem.
- Perform regular audits and respond to audit requests involving our HR systems and data.
- Manage change management efforts including team communications, trainings.
- Experience with large to mid-size HRIS and ATS solutions such as Namely, BambooHR, TriNet, Greenhouse and HiBob.
People Data
- Utilizing your expertise and experience with people data, enable our teams and organization to effectively understand and develop our workforce.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to your cross functional partners in finance, accounting and others based on your routine analysis.
- Evolve our people team reporting to the broader business through both automation and pointed analysis.
- Creativity and discipline in enabling organizations with key HR technology, automation and data analysis.
- You are an exceptional problem solver and have a bias toward action.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated track record of developing processes in a growth environment.
- Have the ability to enact change directly and influence across the organization to increase adoption and alignment.
- Experience partnering with cross functional partners such as payroll, finance, accounting and executive leadership.
Our mission at Customer.io is to power automated communication that people like to receive. Today over 4,000 internet businesses use Customer.io to manage, send, and track the performance of email, SMS, and push notifications. Unlike typical marketing platforms, Customer.io helps businesses increase relevance by using behavioral data: what people do or don’t do when logged in to a web or mobile app.
We are offering a starting salary of $140,000-$160,000 USD depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

- Flexible schedule, work anywhere you want! - as long as you have a reliable internet connection and some overlapping work time with your manager, you can work where and when you want
