Yahoo's Internal Communications team is looking for a communications professional to lead internal communications support for our consumer and B2B businesses. In this role, you will:

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program. Responsibilities:
Yahoo's Internal Communications team is looking for a communications professional to lead internal communications support for our consumer and B2B businesses. In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute creative strategies for communicating to employees taking into account the needs of different audiences.
- Manage end-to-end internal communications plans, tactics, and outcomes, including the frequency and channels of communication and coordination of stakeholders across different areas of the business and the company.
- Interact with and influence executives, and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.
- Develop short- and long-form content for the intranet, Slack, newsletters, scripts, presentations, and announcements.
- Partner with teams across the organization to explore a diverse range of story ideas.
- Manage partnerships with creative agencies and in-house design teams to support employee-exclusive assets.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 8+ years of direct internal communications experience working for industry-leading brands or product-led organizations.
- Experience with change management in complex, fast-changing organizations.
- Ability to plan, work calmly, and maintain good judgment and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
- Ability to drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail, be an effective team player, meet project deadlines, and lead efforts across disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills
