Job Description

The Sr. Marketing Manager - Lifecycle, Digital, and Marketing Analytics is a key member of the marketing leadership team and is responsible for managing a team focused on managing lifecycle communications to maximize customer value, developing, and deploying content through various channels to build and reinforce a consistent customer experience and building marketing capabilities to support Byline's growth aspirations. This role will be responsible for channels including email, social media, and public website.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Key partner with marketing business leads, meeting regularly to understand their LOB "client" strategic plans, annual priorities, and goals.
  • Monitor best practices and competitor activities related to customer lifecycle marketing including onboarding, triggers, journeys, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing business partners on lifecycle, engagement, and cross sell initiatives with a focus on driving revenue, lead generation, driving customer conversion and maximizing customer value. Lead development, execution and if possible, automation plans for fulfillment, ensuring alignment with Byline brand.
  • Serve as marketing representative for digital banking projects, coordinating with marketing partners as required for execution.
  • Lead strategy to build CRM and lead generation capabilities across enterprise, prioritizing by LOB and by functionality, in partnership with IT.
  • Lead partnership and be the primary marketing contact with Salesforce, ensuring that we are maximizing usage of our current portfolio and leading product enhancement roadmap.
  • Build marketing analytics discipline, including reporting such as marketing dashboards, partnering with Enterprise Analytics as required.
  • Support marketing business leads with reporting and analytics to deliver on KPIs, Return on Marketing Investment across LOBs, etc.
  • Oversee management of public website, bylinebank.com, social media channels, and email campaigns.
  • Partner with internal and external agency partners as required to execute campaigns and optimizations.
  • Manage team of direct reports including allocation of work and oversight to ensure understanding and alignment with ongoing priorities and delivery of projects on time and on budget.
    1. Conduct regular 1w1 meetings as required.
    2. Set and track performance goals and development plan through Annual Performance Planning
    3. Conduct regular performance conversations, including formal mid-year and year-end.
  • Serve as key member of Marketing leadership team, role modeling mindset of innovation, agility, and embracing change and helping to build/strengthen culture of camaraderie and accountability.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree with preference for Business, Marketing, Finance, or related degree is required for this role.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in marketing, product management, general management, and/or marketing leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team towards established goals through prioritization, delegation, and accountability, in an evolving environment.
  • Ability to articulate vision and ideas via PowerPoint with strong communication skills, both written and presentation/verbal.
  • Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and executives on vision and marketing plans, informed and supported by data.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and stakeholders, negotiating prioritization and expectations with diplomacy, managing workload appropriately for cross functional teams to and delivering on what you commit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and interest in learning additional systems and software platforms including project management, bank core system software for report export and analysis as needed.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for "building" (capabilities, teams, ideas, etc.)
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, while balancing ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves and work through details to ensure successful execution and follow-through.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in financial services or related industry an asset, but not a necessity.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Byline Bank offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
