As an Infrastructure and Cloud Strategy Senior Manager, you will work closely with clients to translate their challenges and business priorities into comprehensive technical strategies that support their vision and achieve desired outcomes. Our projects address a wide range of issues including public and private cloud strategy, cloud ascension programs, infrastructure governance, modern and hybrid architectures, target operating models, technology modernization, business transformation, and operationalization. You will be advising clients on how they can leverage emerging technologies such as cloud services, data science, blockchain, and other capabilities to build competitive advantage.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead clients to understand their needs, perform analyses, formulate hypotheses, and develop actionable plans through workshops, strategy sessions and discovery
- Collaborate closely with client sponsors and other leaders on design of enterprise infrastructure to accelerate rapid evaluation and implementation
- Assist clients with the development of IT digital and operating model strategies including initial vision, strategic requirements, and structured linkage to the business strategy
- Translate ambiguous IT challenges into results by analyzing data and engaging with a diverse range of client stakeholders
- Support our clients through large and complex IT transformation resulting from strategic business changes, mergers and acquisitions and other business disruption
- Provide thought leadership and specialized insights to our clients around disruptive technologies, digital, mobile, agile delivery, architecture, etc.
- Lead teams of architects, technology SMEs, consultants, and other resources to drive successful outcomes for our clients
- Work alongside our sales teams to lead business development for your areas of expertise and focus, develop proposals, lead sales negotiations and development of LOE and SOWs.
- Develop and collaborate with our resources to develop frameworks, methodologies, and offerings to take to market in your area
- Manage and facilitate development of client deliverables, executive summary read-outs, and detail fact-based analyses
- Assist with overall client engagement activities, proposal development, and support practice go-to-market initiatives and development of new offerings
- Lead design and execution of technical capability assessments, analyzing results, and presenting recommendations in an effective, logical manner to the client
- Deliver thoughtful recommendations through compelling presentations and lead facilitated workshops to influence business decisions
- Plan and manage scope, activities, resources, and budget for assigned projects
- Develop effective working relationships directly with clients and Trace3 colleagues
- Support Trace3 account teams in identifying opportunities and proposing solutions to clients
Qualifications & Interests:
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience, preferably at a consulting or technology company
- Strong knowledge of relevant technology trends across the IT and digital landscape and how they can be applied to address real world problems and opportunities
- Practical knowledge of modern infrastructure and cloud technologies in two or more of the following categories:
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Infrastructure (Data Center/Private Cloud, Compute, Network, Storage, Virtualization)
- IT Operations (Support, Governance, Monitoring, Change Management)
- DevOps (CI/CD, Pipeline, Automation, IaC)
- IT Operating Models (Capability Models, Org Structure, Process)
- Team oriented and collaborative working style, with clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage other consultants to achieve project objectives and deliver successful projects.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills with an ability to present technical issues to executives and non-technical audience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Experience in an Agile environment required
- Ability to work additional hours and/or travel as needed (Up to 50% travel to various client sites)
