The Role:

The Senior Program Manager for Medical Experience in the cannabis industry is a key leadership position that involves orchestrating and overseeing various aspects of medical cannabis programs and initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring that patients have a seamless, informed, and patient-centric journey within the medical cannabis landscape, adhering to regulatory compliance and promoting excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Program Development and Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive programs and strategies dedicated to enhancing the medical cannabis experience for patients.
  • Continuously assess the evolving needs of patients and the industry to adapt and optimize programs accordingly.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations governing medical cannabis and ensure that all programs and activities comply with these requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Patient Education and Support:

  • Design and manage patient education programs to provide patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about medical cannabis use.
  • Establish effective support channels for patients to seek guidance, address concerns, and receive timely assistance.

Quality Assurance and Product Excellence:

  • Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure that patients have access to safe and effective medical cannabis products.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to curate a product lineup that meets patient needs and maintains high standards.

Data Analysis and Improvement:

  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, making data-driven improvements to enhance the patient experience continually.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to better serve patients.

  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams responsible for various aspects of the medical cannabis experience, including patient education, support, and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and patient-centricity within the team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and industry organizations to foster collaboration and advance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, particularly within the medical cannabis industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in data analysis and program evaluation.
  • A deep commitment to patient privacy, ethics, and compassionate care.
  • Familiarity with medical cannabis products, strains, and their therapeutic applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of all required background checks.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations related to working in the industry.
