Sr. Manager of Emerging Technology & Partner Management - VP

The Sr. Manager of Emerging Technology & Partner Management will be responsible for contributing to establishment of a technical partner testing/evaluation process and support of strategic programs, ranging from partner exploration to program management. The Sr. Manager will develop an evaluation process, but they will work closely with several other Citi teams, such as Engineering, Innovation, Business Development, Product Management, and other Technology teams, to align goals and best leverage Citi resources. They must be entrepreneurial, have a strategic point-of-view and vision, and also demonstrate the ability to deliver within a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Actively support development and implementation of a new process that improves the team's decision-making and outcomes
• Project management of test design and structure, working with engineers
• Evaluation of third-party partners and solutions, interfacing with partner representatives
• Communication of recommendations and outcomes
• Creation of POVs, content, and speakers within emerging technology
• Summarization and distribution of insights in appropriate forums and with relevant Technology teams
• Completion and timely submission of executive, external, and team deliverables, managing stakeholders and timelines
• Tracking and management of outcomes
• Analysis and monitoring of emerging technology and financial partnerships
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Innovation Lab tech relationship lead, Partner Solutions Architect, Partner Integration lead, or Consultant
• Knowledge of and experience structuring proofs of concept and pilots
• Highly skilled collaborator - thrives working with others to achieve success, including teamwork and organizational skills
• Strong executive communication - written and verbal. Comfortable presenting to and working with executives
• Keen interest in emerging technologies
• Project management and strategy background in operational areas, including partnerships, finance, processes administration
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
• Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management
• Strategic and goal-oriented thinker
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills
