We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Operations to oversee the daily operations of our company. As an integral part of our management team, the Senior Manager- Operations will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational aspects. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and organizational skills, have a keen eye for detail, and be adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

Lead web team through assessment, technical design, development, testing, and launch. The position requires a highly organized mind and the ability to communicate well. Managing people and processes is as important as having a good grasp of web design/development.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage new client website projects from concept to completion.
• Conducts kickoff meetings with internal team and client.
• Communicates with clients effectively and efficiently regarding projects.
• Tracks progress of multiple projects making sure they are on time and within budget.
• Participates in weekly team status meetings.
• Holds regular meetings with the project team and web team.
• Keeps the web team informed of project changes that impact operation and direction.
• Communicates relevant project information to management.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully with the client.
• Effectively conveys our message and approach in both written and verbal communications to clients.
• Ability to work successfully with many types of personalities.
• Take the lead in working with digital teams on introducing breakthrough technology solutions into operations, especially RPA, End to solutions based on AI.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of WordPress development and build a custom solution for our client.
• In-depth understanding of performance/security considerations.
• Developing/modifying custom WordPress/Woo-Commerce themes and plugins.
• In depth knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, JS(jQuery), CSS, and HTML.
• Good understanding of version control like git.
• Git workflow with CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Javascript Framework like jQuery or React.
• Knowledge of WPRest API and WPCLI.
• Knowledge of WordPress coding standards.
• Working experience with Gutenberg (e.g creating dynamic blocks).
• Proficient in English communication.
• Knowledge of VIP Coding Standards.
• Working experience with Docker and VVV.
• Experience working with WordPress Multisite development.
• Knowledge of other page builders is a plus like – Elementor, Divi, etc.
• Experience of working with high traffic websites
• Knowledge of WordPress Unit Testing (PHPUnit).
• Experience with WordPress core contributions.

Having below skills will have an advantage

• Experience in implementing process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of using ChatGPT and Prompt engineering - Generative AI
