As Qurate Retail Group's newest business unit, vCommerce Ventures is designed to accelerate our innovation in livestream commerce and establish our leadership in this space while also supporting the continued expansion of QVC's and HSN's linear video commerce ("vCommerce") experiences to new audiences. vCommerce includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms. vCommerce Ventures brings together livestream commerce teams and initiatives from across QVC and HSN into a separate, global business unit, with dedicated marketing, business development, content development and production, programming, planning, and merchandising resources.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director, Streaming Marketing for QVC+ HSN+, the Senior Manager, Paid Media will be responsible for leading and managing our paid media team to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth and revenue. This role requires an experienced and data-driven individual who can manage multiple channels while ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across multiple digital channels (Social, CTV/OLV, SEM, Display) in collaboration with the marketing team and other stakeholders
- Manage and own the day-to-day relationship and deliverables with the Paid Media agency
- Create and maintain a media plan that aligns with business goals and targets. Continually monitor and optimize campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS and CPAS
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to develop ad creative and copy that follows platform best practices and leverages campaign/business learnings and insights
- Analyze paid media data and provide regular reporting to senior leadership on campaign performance, insights, and recommended optimizations
- Manage a team of paid media specialists, providing mentorship and guidance to help individuals develop professionally
- Develop test and learn roadmap inclusive of A/B, new channels/partners, betas/alphas, etc. that delivers against improving marketing KPIs
- Cultivate relationships with key media partners e.g. Roku, Fire TV, Meta, Google staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in advertising
- Own entire working and non-working paid media budget as well as the end-to-end billing process i.e. POs, invoicing, tracking, and accruals
- Communicate paid media strategies, plans, and results across various teams to ensure alignment and collaboration within the marketing department and across the organization.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience (4+ years of managing people) of end-to-end paid media campaign management inclusive of planning, launch, and performance measurement preferably at a media agency and/or a client/brand side-related position
- Experience working in Retail/eCommerce and/or Media & Entertainment categories is preferred
- Extensive knowledge and expertise with Digital Media: Paid Social, YouTube, Direct & Programmatic Video (CTV/OTT/OLV) and Display, SEM, etc.; Bonus points if you have experience with SEO
- Keen understanding of biddable media strategies, key tactics, and trends with performance media; Hands on keyboard experience is a plus but not required e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs
- Familiarity with multiple attribution models and technologies as well as best practices for marketing automation and CRM activation
- High EQ and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and galvanize a team as well as communicate with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and media partners
- Ability to evaluate and analyze data to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple campaigns/initiatives and distill complex data & insights into snackable content for leadership
PA or NY based. For New York City based roles only: The annual gross base salary range for this position is $126,000.00-$175,000.00. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions.
