YOUR ROLE 

As the Sr. Manager, People Operations with Evergreen Nephrology, you will play a meaningful role in helping our company to scale and reach more people living with kidney disease through ensuring effective and efficient support for our team members. You will be accountable for overseeing and scaling efficient people operations in our organization and will be the owner and project manager for important HR program implementation and recurring activities such as compensation management, benefits management, regulatory compliance, workflows and processes, people operations policy management, people operations data and reporting, and people operations functional infrastructure.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS 

  • Lead the People Operations function to support the delivery and improvement of all aspects of the team member lifecycle, including new-hire onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, leaves of absences, and overall team member support from an operations standpoint
  • Design, implement and streamline core processes related to the team member experience, such as pre-hire clearance, onboarding, separations, and other events that make up the team member life cycle
  • Optimize and own HR systems required for onboarding, performance management, team member personnel records (HRIS) and continue to drive organizational adoption of those systems
  • Own the dashboard and reporting of all people operations data, including ensuring data integrity
  • Own and manage compensation management, including maintaining job architecture framework on our compensation system, regularly refreshing compensation data, and review and pricing of new roles
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, and update policies and/or procedures as required and in partnership with legal, compliance, and quality teams
  • Design, implement and streamline data management processes to drive towards data integrity across systems, including processes of job status changes, regular data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of personnel record management
  • Create and maintain all HR policies, working with the Compliance Team and the Policy Committee as needed
  • Manage the PEO relationship and build analytics capability to track key people-related metrics, communicating date to key stakeholders ensuring informed decision-making
  • Design and execute on service level agreements and performance metrics for the people success team; leverage to manage individual performance and set clear expectations with leaders
  • Collaborate with finance on hiring forecast and budget management
  • Facilitate or assist with the facilitation of training for team members and leaders as necessary
  • Be able to travel to market locations and/or meeting events as necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SHRM or PHR Certification preferred 
  • Minimum eight (8) years of HR operations related experience 
  • Strong attention to detail, with direct experiencing creating HR operations workflows and creating and maintaining policies
  • Strong experience overseeing people operations, including designing, streamlining and documenting process flows
  • Deep project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills 
  • Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws required 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Change management experience a plus
  • Solution-oriented mindset and work approach, with a willingness to contribute to many different types of tasks to get things done, even if they fall outside your normal scope of duties. 
  • Experience in early stage, high growth organization strongly preferred
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Healthcare-specific HR experience is strongly preferred
