Summary: The Senior Planning Manager is a passionate and analytical individual who will be a key driver of the North America Omni Retail & Outlet businesses, in partnership with the Senior Buyer. This person should have a customer-centric mindset and be able to partner effectively across various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic, big picture thinker with a strong understanding of the details to lead a team of individual contributors. The role reports into the Senior Director, Global Buying, Planning, & Allocation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Weekly reporting and analysis to identify actions based on business trend in close partnership with the Senior Buyer
- Own and oversee the sku-level Excel OTB files; forecast sales, inventory, and margin for all channels with support of associate planners
- Identify risks and opportunities to the plan and make strategic recommendations
- Partner with Global Inventory Management to optimize inventory across regions and channels
- Regular communication with the Store and Ecom teams on immediate and longer term needs
- Analyze monthly and seasonal hindsights to develop sizing, depth, and distribution strategies
- Lead the allocation process including newness roll-out strategy, in-season replenishment, and end of season liquidation across channels
- Manage and develop a team of 2 associate planners
- Ad hoc analysis and projects, as needed
Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and comfortable partnering with many different teams
- Comfortable performing ad-hoc analysis and operating with limited systems
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Detailed oriented and highly organized
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
- Strong people management skills
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in Buying, Planning, and/or Allocation preferred
- Omni channel or ecommerce experience is preferable
- Experience in a sized category is a plus
- Hybrid role based in NYC

BASE PAY RANGE $100,000.00 TO $120,000.00 Annually
