Organization Overview:
The Sr. Manager of the Bioanalytical Center of Excellence (BACE) laboratory leads and manages the day-to-day activities of the team. The teams responsibilities include performing Bioassay, ELISA and DNA methods supporting API manufacturing, drug substance and drug product testing. The Sr. Manager serves as a technical expert on the methods performed in the BACE laboratory. Coordinates work for the team while responding to changing priorities. Maintains a safe, organized, and compliant work area according to safety standards, cGMP regulations and data integrity requirements. Works independently and communicates with laboratory staff.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all laboratory operations are in compliance with the applicable procedures and standards
- Provide leadership for the development, implementation, and execution of quality systems
- Develop and ensure execution of quality plan projects
- Define and maintain inspection readiness activities
- Interact with regulatory agencies during GMP inspections as appropriate
- Leads the implementation and sustainment of Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (4-year College) in a science field related to the lab (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, biology) or 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in a GMP (bioanalytical or microbiology) lab
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Minimum of 5+ years of bioanalytical experience

Additional Information:
- Available to provide 24 hour a day coverage
- Minimal travel required
