Job Overview:

Safe-Guard Products is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Rates and Forms Department. As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers and collaborating with the business to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects across multiple clients simultaneously. Your expertise in managing people in an IT/Business Processing environment, solution-oriented mindset, and SQL abilities will be instrumental in improving processes to increase efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers within the Rates and Forms Department, fostering their professional growth, monitoring their performance, and ensuring their engagement and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines, and effectively translate them into actionable plans for the team.
  • Oversee the successful execution of multiple projects across various clients simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Foster effective collaboration and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality of deliverables within the Rates and Forms Department.
  • Utilize SQL abilities to extract and analyze data, provide insights and validate project quality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, employing problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing people, preferably in an IT or Transactions Business Process environment
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering multiple projects simultaneously, on time, and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a solution-oriented approach to driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze data.
  • In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with rates and forms management within the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
