Job Description

Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. And you’ll be part of a culture where everyone feels supported.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Ready to join us?

Hudl’s Revenue Operations and Enablement Team is focused on unlocking efficiency and increasing productivity through the creation, and continual improvement of, a defined best practice for how all client-facing roles execute activities within all phases of the revenue cycle. This is done through four pillars of focus:

  • Defining what the best practice is where none exists
  • Driving adoption of these best practices
  • Assessing the results, gathering feedback, and finding ways to improve
  • Taking a change initiative to the field to embed into the defined set of best practices

We’re currently looking for a Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations, to align with our Competitive Business Unit, who service High School and Club sports teams throughout North America. The role will focus on sales and marketing operational efficiency initiatives, deal support management, change management projects, activities tied to yearly planning and generally serve as the go-to person for this Business Unit for all things tied to how our go to market strategy is executed.

You will work directly with front-line sales and customer success, both individual contributors and leadership, as well as with stakeholders from other departments, always keeping an eye for ways to improve the productivity and efficiency of the team so that the ambitious growth goals are met.

As a qualified candidate, you have experience leading a Revenue / Sales Operations team in a fast-paced environment, or you’ve had years of experience working in Rev Ops and are ready to take your first steps in leadership. Your understanding of SaaS sales fundamentals and the challenges of hyper-growth are matched by your leadership skills that allow you to drive alignment and execution across the business from VP level down. You are business-oriented in your approach to Operations - taking Hudl’s strategy, collaborating to translate it into quarterly plans, and then working with our teams to execute these over days and weeks. You are service-oriented in your approach to leadership - ensuring your team executes all work at a consistently high level and meets all deadlines, while promoting an environment of fun, learning and opportunity for those you manage. While you execute quarterly plans that drive to our annual targets, your team also leads the way in reactive support for our go-to-market teams - ready and able to assist on anything required through the year.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business - including frontline Sales, Support and Customer Success teams that we serve. Beyond this you’ll work with Hudlies from teams such as Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR, Product Management, and Business Operations. Your ability to work effectively with a wide group of people and lead them to execute on our shared goals is what will lead you to success in this role. As a partner to our revenue leaders you’ll become close to Hudl’s challenges and create the path forward for them to grow the business painlessly. As a partner to our broader Business Operations team you’ll come to own our rhythm of annual planning and execution, taking the lead on a variety of projects related to the revenue engine and customer life cycle in order to free up our specialist teams to focus on their areas of expertise.

Our flexible work policy means you can decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office or remotely within the majority of U.S. states (exceptions: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington).

You Are
  • Experienced in Revenue or Sales Operations, with SaaS experience preferred but not essential
  • Passionate about high quality leadership and the impact you can make on your team and their careers
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment serving multiple stakeholders in multiple countries each with their own varying challenges
  • Flexible as you plan ahead with quarterly execution in mind, while knowing that life in Ops is defined by unexpected challenges and how we handle them as they arise
  • Collaborative and friendly - a strong, dependable partner for everyone around you while promoting a positive, inclusive work environment
  • Experienced in partnering with VPs and Directors of Sales, Customer Success and Support, and serving them with what they need to succeed
  • Able to consistently demonstrate an understanding of what life is like for your stakeholders, what their challenges are as we grow, and how we need to serve them
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; you have a big-picture view and can align teams to get there
  • Hands-on as you lead your team through example by helping deliver projects yourself, becoming deeply involved with day-to-day life in our revenue engine and the various operational projects it takes for us to succeed each year
You Will
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams as they each play a role alongside you in our organization’s mission
  • Lead the way developing a team of supportive Ops professionals that just “get it done” no matter the task and help us drive a scalable business
  • Listen to your colleagues and stakeholders, taking time to learn about  their world and our customer’s world before making plans to serve them
  • Confidently articulate your Operations strategy and solutions to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Stay laser-focused on the experience of the Hudlies we serve internally, and what they need to execute on our mission
  • Challenge robustly but politely, always seeking ways to do better and repeatedly show a willingness to question the status quo.
  • Understand that technical and business constraints factor into many decisions - you know when to strive for perfection and when it’s time to be pragmatic
  • Own your work, always being accountable to the business, your stakeholders and your peers for meeting your commitments and delivering work of the required high quality
  • Know how and when to tactfully say, “No."
  • Advise our leaders over time, as you come to learn more about our business and use your skills to develop plans
We Will
  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
