HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Sr. Manager, Sales Support is responsible for building business in the national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, group insurance and specialty products areas for existing channels, broker led and plan sponsor led deals. They are also responsible for providing guidance, regarding our responses and the success of those responses in tandem with overall analysis regarding our capabilities. Their goal is to meet customer needs and help them make better decisions and about their health care
- Identify opportunities for sales support to streamline entire sales process along with measure activities' results.
- Perform as primary liaison to Product Development, Operations, IT and various departments as required.
- Ensure to secure resources as requested by Sales Team and Account Manager to assist sales process.
- Manage internal/external communication regarding the RFP process
- Determine when updates are required for RFP related activities
- Ensure tactics are aligned with revenue targets along with future growth targets.
- Work to ensure that efforts are focused on growing and assisting in meeting sales goals and targets
- Support sales, marketing as well as account management.
- Manage Salesforce activities regarding RFP/RFI responses
- Track RFP success rates, analyze that data and determine different approaches to ensure higher win rates
- Utilize Salesforce to report out on our success rates
- Other duties as assigned
IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
- Bachelor's Degree or related field experience
- 7-10 years of applicable experience
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
- Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
- An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
- Strong collaboration skills
- A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is required
