Sr. Manager, Small Law Revenue Management
Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Revenue Management, Small Law Firms is charged with growing the Small Law sub-segment through strategic customer retention initiatives, ongoing customer experience improvement, and management of policies that support revenue retention. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical experience, customer/market knowledge, and passion for customer experience to bear in this highly visible role reporting to the Director, Revenue Management.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Support strategic customer retention initiatives that are differentiated by service levels, i.e., High Value Accounts (HVAs) through to very small spend clients and in partnership with Digital Transformation lead.
- Shape sub-segment revenue retention policies, e.g., early downgrade, swaps/cancel policies, etc and measure policy changes to ensure positive results.
- Ensure we are maximizing key proposition growth through quarterly review of financial and operating measures and a bias toward action ("interlocks").
- Support a step-change in Small Law NPS through ongoing involvement in customer experience improvement projects and by leveraging NPS data in partnership with the CX team
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of finance, customer retention, corporate/business strategy, or similar experience
- Analytical mindset, using data to inform improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated understanding of Net Promoter Score (NPS) insights and how they can be applied to improve customer experience and revenue retention.
- Self-starter, with the ability to build and prioritize a pipeline of work.
- Proven ability to drive multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and at pace.
- Clear evidence of ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written presentation skills.
- Structures and leads workstreams (small projects or parts of medium projects), including business unit or company strategies, acquisition pipeline development, the strategy planning process, or key operational issues (such as pricing, sales force optimization)
- Carries out complex research and analysis on a stand-alone basis as part of their workstream
- Takes thought leadership role in problem solving and developing recommendations
- Takes the results to a logical and relevant end product, with minimum supervision
- Creates deliverables, including reports, newsletters, spreadsheets, presentations and other outputs to document and communicate findings
- Independently interacts and collaborates with mid and senior-level stakeholders
- Becomes "expert" on broad area
- May manage junior staff on workstream
