Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Social Media and Digital Marketing will lead the development and execution / implementation and tracking of social media (paid and organic), influencer programs, and website development programs for Restylane, Sculptra, and Dysport. This role has accountability for working with the agencies and brand & services teams to meet business objectives and brand objectives against agreed KPIs. This includes aligning influencers that fit with the brand strategies, evaluating per aligned criteria, implementing influencer content, and measurement. In addition, this role will lead competitive tracking of social & digital marketing efforts for relevant competitors and makes proactive recommendations to brand teams/agencies based on competitive insights as well as serve as the day-to-day contact for the influencer/social/digital agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead social media strategy (paid and organic), website development, and influencer strategy and programs across relevant platforms - includes implementation and tracking/ROI/KPI measurement
- Plan and execute/influence all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, social, email, and display advertising, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure execution with excellence
- Partner with services (ASPIRE, GAIN) to establish best practices around use of data/analytics to best shape customer journeys and inform marketing efforts
- Develop original user-generated content in partnership with influencers including creation of digital creative using Galderma tools/technologies/production capabilities
- Develop high-quality content and copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms
- Lead development of measurement dashboards for website, paid, owned, and earned media and manage reporting to brand teams and management. Weekly tracking of competitors across relevant social channels.
- Partner with GBU, Brand teams, and agencies to develop marketing/creative/social media assets.
- Partner with sales and marketing to ensure social media / influencer / website programs link to brand growth as well as HCP initiatives and programs with KOLs
- Track social media/influencer/PR/website VMS budgets and report to brand teams on monthly basis working closely with media agency, communications agency, and PR/influencer agency
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field, required
- 8+ years of marketing experience with an emphasis on social media and digital marketing
- 5+ years of social media/influencer marketing experience (agency or client side)
- Beauty/Personal Care/Aesthetics experience is preferred
- Graphics design experience preferred/ideal
- Strong experience in social media channels with track record of tracking/measuring key KPIs including ROI/ROAS
- Experience with PR /paid and organic social media / influencers across relevant channels (e.g. YouTube, FB/IG, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok)
- Strong entrepreneurial aptitude and be solution focused. A strong sense of urgency and ability to manage numerous projects at one time are required
- Collaborative and strong listener of business/brand team strategies and Global strategies
- Previous experience handling complexity and working with speed flexibility and agility in changing digital landscape
- Ability to be flexible, agile, and ready to lead, Implement and respond in a dynamic, fast-moving consumer, technology, and competitive landscape with speed to achieve business results.
- Travel up to 20%
