Your role:
The Sr. Manager, Software Development for Ingram Micro's global digital technology organization will be a key leader responsible for enterprise-wide applications and for aligning our technology with our business goals. This position will also be imperative in optimizing processes and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
The Sr. Manager, Software Development will lead delivery and deployment of the internal-facing enterprise platform, Xvantage for Associates, while also driving wider adoption and frequent usage of the broader Xvantage platform across all countries. This includes identifying and implementing improvements to streamline processes, optimizing resources, reducing costs, and driving overall efficiency. This position will also need to prioritize customer needs, understand challenges, and ensure satisfaction with Xvantage to strengthen the customer experience and increase customer loyalty.

- Lead the delivery of complex associate-facing projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
- Manage a team of 25+ developers, analysts, and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
- Establish strong governance frameworks around transformation projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of objectives.
- Shaping and delivering projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers, vendors, and associates and our own quality criteria.
- Continuously identify and implement platform improvements.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to define business requirements, develop project plans, and monitor progress.
- Possess a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and implementation Identify and solve problems with a critical and analytical mind, embracing creative solutions.
- Be a champion of change in in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, readily adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Work closely with product owners, functional managers, and internal technology teams to ensure the platform delivery is aligned with business needs.
- Cultivate a high-performing team through effective hiring, mentorship, and talent management strategies.
What you bring to the role:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree in computer science is a plus. 12+ years of experience in software engineering, leading programming, systems design, and deployment.
- 7+ years leadership experience in software engineering or similar, leading large, distributed teams; experience with digital platforms and/or Information Technology is highly preferred.
- 5 + years of project management experience required; a minimum of 3 years of experience focused on go-to-market system implementations highly preferred.
- Strong people management skills to mentor and guide individual team members in their career goals.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM platforms, ideally with a focus on Dynamics CRM (an added advantage), highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing large-scale digital transformation projects, including expertise in building digital solutions and modernization of the technology landscape with deep execution and operational understanding.
- Expert in the entire SDLC from ideation, solution design, delivery, testing and operationalizing.
- Experience working within Cloud, SaaS, and emerging cloud-use cases for enterprise companies.
- Experience in automating application build and deployment with CI/CD, SysOps to DevOps, and automation using Bitbucket, Jenkins, Selenium, and Git.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Proven experience in matrix management organizations with the ability to manage and drive implementation and change.
- Consumer-driven with experience testing concepts and solutions with business partners.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop talent.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $144,400.00 - $245,500.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
