Job Summary

As Senior Manager in Digital Commerce Experience (under Sales Technology Org), you will be responsible for building and maintaining user experiences on our e-Commerce site Xfinity.com. You will be working closely with business analysts, content and product partners to define and a deliver features and functionality with quality and speed providing our customers with a best-in-class shopping experience. You'll be helping engineers develop their careers, matching people and projects based on current skills, development, personalities, and work styles.

Core Responsibilities

  • Hire, mentor, develop, & grow a well-balanced and diverse engineering team.
  • Collect and integrate feedback from each member of your team while cultivating the psychological safety for members of the team. Set clear expectations and provide thoughtful, meaningful, and impactful feedback to members of your team.
  • Cultivate excellence in the reliability, scalability, stability, security, and craft of the software your team builds.
  • Partner with product management, UX designers, content editors, engineering, finance, and security leads to develop and deliver the roadmap.
  • Assist the team in designing architecture and processes that deliver value, quality, and stability.
  • Build a minimal set of processes needed to ensure the team works effectively.
  • Participate in joint design and architecture sessions.
  • Guide the team through security, design, code reviews and code quality.

Preferred qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including extensive programming experience and experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience leading teams in customer-centric and agile organizations with empathy and compassion.
  • A track record of building stable and scalable software while delivering features on a fast paced schedule.
  • Experience building, delivering, and operating services web experiences
  • Experience on a DevOps team working with CI/CD, Azure and AWS Application monitoring, issue triaging will be very helpful in this role.
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing web applications using ReactJS, Node.js, Sitecore or other JavaScript frameworks.
