Overview:

Drives the execution of strategic initiatives and transformation programs within HKS. Enables the successful delivery of strategic objectives by aligning resources, optimizing processes and ensuring that transformation efforts are sustainable and scalable. Works closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to implement change initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation and position the firm for long-term success. Self-starter, able to influence and drive change, to deal with ambiguity and to demonstrate results to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with senior leadership to translate the organization’s strategic vision into actionable plans and initiatives
  • Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Monitors the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying risks and obstacles, and implementing solutions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Develops and implements frameworks, methodologies and tools to support the effective delivery of transformation initiatives
  • Ensures that transformation programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations
  • Leads change management efforts across the organization, ensuring that employees are engaged, informed and supported throughout the transformation process
  • Develops and executes change management plans that address communication, training, stakeholder engagement and resistance management
  • Works with leaders and managers to build a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborates with functional leaders across departments to ensure that strategic initiatives are integrated and aligned with operational priorities
  • Facilitates cross-functional workshops and meetings to drive alignment, resolve issues and promote a shared understanding of goals and objectives
  • Serves as a liaison between executive leadership and project teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination of efforts
  • Optimizes the allocation of resources, including people, technology and financial investments, to support strategic priorities and transformation initiatives
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making
  • Ensures that the organization’s capabilities and resources are aligned with future growth and scalability needs
  • Regularly reports on the progress of initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations and adjustments as needed
  • Conducts post-implementation reviews to assess the impact of initiatives and identify lessons learned for future projects
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability within the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or related degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Typically with 8+ years of experience
  • Certification in Organizational Change Management, e.g. Prosci, highly desired
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in facilitating workshops for large groups and coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Experience in logistics management including connecting people and resources to the right place at the right time
  • Advanced understanding of modern learning and development models and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Strong presentation skills, including speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to manage team with diplomatic and collaborative leadership style which puts value on relationships and collaboration, both internal and external
  • Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
  • Travel will be required
