Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations role is for individuals who will use their engineering based technical, analytical and critical thinking skills to drive strategic priorities for Pelotonās product quality & safety. The role requires strategic and analytical thinking, excellent leadership expertise, and project management and problem solving skills that will contribute to desired business results. The role expects the required individual to understand the inner workings of the quality, safety and product organization, as well as Pelotonās business strategy.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Supporting arguments with data and insights for projects related to Quality, Safety & Product Lifecycle
Collaborate with Environment, Safety and Government (ESG) team
Handle the budget and resources allocation process and handle spending with FP&A team
Developing new processes to support growth and scale for Peloton products
Present findings, recommendations and call to action through succinct presentations to senior executives, using outstanding written and verbal communication
Work with cross functional teams and operations to align on metrics and goals
Prepare for strategic meetings: Team All Hands, Monthly Business Review and Staff Meeting for the SVP.
Prepare Monthly Business Reports (MBR) to be shared in executive level, including C-Suite
Provide mentorship and support to implement central initiatives across the different pillars in the Quality, Safety & PLM organization
Lead the development of strategic planning for Quality, Safety and Product Lifecycle on 5-year plan, roadmap of initiatives
Manage the Engagement Survey initiatives and drive execution on the agreed plan
Support the SVP, Quality, Safety & PLM on supervising action plans and cross functional projects.
Collaborate internally across multiple teams, arrange tradeoffs, solicit collaboration and resolve problems, and advance new supplier or product offerings.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
5+ more years of experience using data for quantitative and qualitative analysis and driving cross functional initiatives
Passion for problem solving and ability to work in ambiguity
Excellent communicator and able to develop and build a collaborative working relationship
Acute proficiency with MS Excel / Google Sheets / MS Office Tools / Google Slides
Project management skills in order to coordinate initial implementation - ability to balance and prioritize numerous moving pieces
Self-motivated, biased towards results, and has a great sense of ownership
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, agile and lean environment with an emphasis on practical solutioning

Base Salary: $187,300.00Ā to $243,400.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
