Overall

  • As Sr. Manager, Strategic Pricing & Margin Analysis, you are also a pricing thought leader and decision support function for strategic and day-to-day transactional pricing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of the Pricing Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on developing high-impact value-based pricing strategies and frameworks to drive business revenue and margin growth.
  • Liaise with Sales, Business Operations, Sales Enablement, and Marketing teams to drive the operational implementation of pricing.
  • Lead the development of pricing of new and existing products; collaborate with other functions and senior management to evaluate the cost/benefit of different pricing models.
  • Develop and maintain a cost allocation model to assess product level profitability to drive financially smart pricing decisions.
  • Create profitability analysis reports.
  • Coordinate discount management, pricing tactics, and management of pricing across the Conferences business portfolio.
  • Create models to assess price elasticity and identify opportunities to optimize pricing to increase profitability.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of price changes and policies, implement continuous pricing optimization plans, and build models to size the impact of proposed pricing on revenue and profit.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business experience in B2B pricing.
  • Background in FP&A is preferred, experience with principals of cost accounting required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Direct report experience required.
  • Experienced in managing pricing decisions, enabling repeatable pricing strategies, segmentation analysis, competitive benchmarking, price tiering, and price sensitivity modeling.
  • Able to identify and develop solutions to complex cross-functional challenges from a strategic and operational perspective.
  • Ability to influence various stakeholders, including senior management, by communicating clearly and persuasively.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel & Power Point). PowerBI is preferred.
