The Senior Manager Treasury will play a critical role in managing the company's cash flow and exposure to foreign currency fluctuations and optimizing the use of cash and foreign exchange transactions to meet the company's financial objectives. Reporting directly to the Director Treasury, the Senior Manager will oversee the daily cash and liquidity management, including cash positioning, forecasting, investments, and funding, and company's foreign currency risk management program. The senior manager will work closely with various departments including accounting, tax, legal, reporting and international businesses.
What You'll Bring:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management and foreign exchange for a global enterprise.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CFA, CTP or CPA is a plus.
  • The targeted candidate will have a strong understanding of global Treasury Operations, cash management strategies, short-term investing and cross-border transactions.
  • The successful candidate will have a general understanding of finance and accounting principles. Specifically, the candidate must have a solid understanding of impact of foreign exchange transactions on financial statements.
  • General knowledge of Treasury Management Systems, and Kyriba in particular, is preferred.
  • An understanding of foreign exchange rates, currencies and hedging strategies.
  • The candidate must be able to lead and develop a team of 2-3 members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • This will be a hybrid role.

Impact You'll Make:
  • Develop and implement cash management and foreign currency risk management strategies and policies to optimize cash flow and minimize exposure to foreign currency fluctuations.
  • Manage controls and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Lead day-to-day banking activities including account openings/closing, procurement of banking services, fee management and high priority, high sensitivity payments.
  • Manage the company's daily cash position, ensuring adequate cash levels are maintained to meet daily operational needs and to fund long-term investments and debt obligations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage short-term and long-term cash flow projections to ensure adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
  • Responsible for Treasury SOX and other compliance such as FBAR reporting.
  • Lead the evaluation of global cash pooling and settlement and global in-house foreign exchange bank structure for TransUnion. Present to the executive team findings and recommendations.
  • Manage banking relationships, optimize cash management and foreign exchange processes, and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies.
  • Responsible for treasury technology and continuous improvement including Kyriba, TransUnion's Treasury Management System.
  • Manage the company's foreign currency transactions, including hedging, settlements, exposure management, and counterparty risk.
  • Coordinate with external third party and corporate accounting on all hedging activity
  • Prepare foreign currency forecasts and manage short-term and long-term foreign currency projections to ensure adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for other treasury team members and other departments on foreign currency risk management.
