ScienceLogic is looking for a talented and accomplished UX Leader who is seasoned in leading and growing highly creative and functional team of UX/Product motivated to make its mark on the World’s leading product in Hybrid IT Monitoring and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) – SL1 Platform. Evangelist by nature, this leader will become a thought leader on ScienceLogic’s stance to transform IT Operations through best-in-class technologies and techniques seamlessly interwoven through intuitive user journeys.

Your responsibilities …
- Evangelize and advocate for ScienceLogic’s design ethos and operational principles as they are reflected through the experiences we build on our platform
- Manage, empower, and develop a UX team that applies user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of our product
- Champion for excellence in UX practices around consistent design methodologies/toolkits
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships with product, engineering, field, and marketing to envision and deliver powerful, high-quality designs that continuously improve our customer’s workflows and experience
- Partner with product & engineering leadership in release planning to ensure appropriate UX resource prioritization and work with UX Researchers and Designers to plan UX activities
- Motivate the UX team to maintain balance between consistent iterations of customer feedback and think out-of-box to completely transform their experience
- Drive the strategy and vision of product delivery of a consistent end-to-end customer experience in a product that is sophisticated and complex
- Foster shared understanding of customer-centric intersection between design, content, business and technology needs
- Partner with users, product managers, and stakeholders to appropriately assess/optimize the performance of new and existing features derived from user research, usability findings/testing, customer feedback, site metrics, focus groups, etc.) and guide development of the overall UX architecture
- Initiate collaboration with peers and stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality products through the entire design and development process
Qualities you possess…
- Bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required
- Experience as a UX manager or managing teams with at least 8+ years’ experience in UX/ID/HCI design with formal education background to compliment experience
- Experience with developing, applying, and presenting on UX metrics and evaluation, both quantitative and qualitative to leadership
- Strong knowledge of time series-based data analysis and visualization
- Experience in UX leadership, strategy, and operations, with a focus on designing and developing enterprise products and platforms
- Combination of outgoing, highly organized, and persistent personality with the ability to lead a team to handle uncertainty and change
- Experience with developing leadership and technical talent within team/organization
