As a Senior Manager, Clinical Outcomes at Maven, you will:
- Act as both project manager for and individual contributor to evaluations of Maven's impact on clinical and business outcomes for existing clients, including some direct analysis of healthcare claims and self-reported platform data as well as design of the evaluation methodology
- Own relationships with clients, including members of client account management and technical / evaluation teams-and act independently to maintain high client confidence with a strong client-first mentality
- Communicate results of evaluations to clients and senior internal team members through presentations in Powerpoint and / or Word
- Help build and refine the methodology of ROI evaluation of clinical outcomes and financial impact for our clients in Excel
- Support the Sales and Client Success teams in creating projections of potential ROI and clinical impact for prospective clients based on existing models, client data, and self-reported platform data
- Learn to extract insights on a diverse set of clinical and operational outcomes on our internal data platform in Looker / SQL
- Collaborate with the Product and Clinical Programming teams on analyses to inform clinical strategy and product design
- Work closely with Maven's Clinical Research team on analyses and publications
We're looking for you to bring:
- A master's degree with 2-3+ years of healthcare industry experience or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience
- A profile that balances strong communication skills and "client hands" with technical abilities to answer questions through direct data manipulation and analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including "translation" with team members of varying technical abilities
- Well-developed project management skills with a sense of flexibility and prioritization in juggling both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed in a fast-paced startup environment
- Comfort in Excel as well as some light coding experience (or ability and desire to learn - preferably in SQL), and a passion for dissecting and reconstructing complex issues with a data-driven approach
- Some experience with management of team members, either direct reports or project-based leadership
- Passion to drive better maternal and family health outcomes, and help grow new and innovative care models in women's and family health
Helpful experiences and skills (if you don't have them, you can learn them with us!):
- Experience working with and manipulating healthcare claims data and an understanding of how this data is structured
- Experience with data visualization software (Looker a plus)
- Experience with financial modeling and/or statistics
- Background in a healthcare-related field
- Experience in creating Powerpoint slides in a business / client-facing environment

For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $145,000-$175,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
