Job Description:

The Vendor Diversity Manager will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy for vendor diversity and developing and managing all aspects of Arrow's vendor diversity program, leveraging both internal and external best-practices. Partnering with the Environmental, Sustainability and Governance team, this role will help to coordinate, monitor, and report on procurement spend with diverse businesses, support end user requirements, focus on improving procurement sustainability efforts, and promote Arrow's brand in the community. The role also includes responsibility for diverse business advocacy organizations including but not limited to the Mountain Plains Minority Development Council.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Advocate for contracting opportunities with Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled (SD) VOSB concerning the acquisitions of goods and services by Arrow
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level programs/initiatives that expand the diversity of Arrow's vendor base
  • Serve as Vendor Diversity SME, maintaining vendor diversity data integrity and appropriate reporting
  • Identify, encourage, conduct, and monitor outreach to diverse vendors concerning contracting opportunities
  • Represent Arrow as a Board member on the Mountain Plains Minority Development Council
  • Manage the implementation and or utilization of Arrow's tracking systems for diverse spend, accounting/ERP system interfaces, project opportunities and tracking systems, in order to determine actual and forecasted compliance levels
  • Develop, update, and publish Arrow's Annual Commercial Small Business Subcontracting Plan and uses metrics to measure performance to goal
  • Collaborate with procurement and business stakeholders to increase participation in the vendor diversity program and eliminate barriers that may obstruct participation of diverse vendors in the procurement process
  • Establish and communicate Arrow's vendor diversity participation requirements to potential bidders and answer questions. Assists bidders in contracting compliance issues and requirements
  • Other responsibilities as required

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years in Sourcing and Procurement of which at least 5 years in Vendor Diversity
  • Certified Professional in Vendor Diversity, preferred
  • Previous experience with small business, diversity councils and diversity organizations
  • Strong working knowledge of vendor diversity programs, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Experience with diversity vendor information systems
  • Advocate for and influence change in business decisions with respect to vendor diversity utilization
  • Working knowledge of corporate vendor diversity programs, vendor contracting practices, and governmental regulations pertaining to diversity vendors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and programs at a time and balance competing priorities
  • Has acquired knowledge of principles and practices of contract administration and procurement strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven business cases including demand forecasts, category trends, and accurate spend estimations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications directed at internal and external parties as well as towards the development of executive presentations and Arrow Annual Commercial Small Business Subcontracting Plan
  • Effective leadership and influence through active participation and facilitation of vendor diversity projects, vendor reviews, executive briefings, and other relevant meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective business decisions, including the ability to apply logical thinking and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong organizational awareness, and ability to plan and make decisions using sound judgment
  • Proactive and collaborative approach delivering superior internal client engagement
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to analyze data and draw relevant and appropriate conclusions that translate into actionable goals and strategies
  • The identification of products and services that can be supplied by qualified diverse businesses on a direct (Tier I) or indirect (Tier II) basis
  • Proactive identification of diverse vendors

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$101,700.00 - $137,500.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
