A Brief Overview
Provides actionable and strategic insights to empower Marketing and stakeholder teams to make informed, strategic marketing and business decisions for all web entities for Stanford Health Care. These include stanfordhealthcare.org, stanfordhealthcarealliance.org, stanfordhealthcarequality.org and others.

Uses advanced analytics to derive audience insights, initiate personalized customer experiences, while being mindful of privacy considerations for patient customers, and supports the web product team in the continuous evolution of the stanfordhealthcare.org web experience. Works closely with Strategy & Analytics team to ensure the analytics infrastructure, permissions and access are in place to support their work on developing unified marketing analytics and provide deeper web analysis support when needed. Responsible for website product measurement, including evaluation of personalization, a/b and multivariate. testing opportunities.

Partners closely with departmental stakeholders both within & outside of marketing and needs to understand specific business priorities and KPIs for those project teams as well as supporting data driven development with the Web Product, Web Content and IT development teams. Works with IT teams to implement and maintain the marketing analytics infrastructure, and with Growth Marketing to define requirements for the analytics and business intelligence tools.

What you will do
  • Deliver data-driven, actionable insights, specifically:
  • Manages, mines and analyzes a variety of quantitative (i.e Adobe Analytics, log files) and qualitative data sources (i.e. Foresee) to produce insights needed to identify opportunities for web customer experience enhancement/new feature roadmap working closely with Web Product team
  • Leverages advanced analytics and statistical tools to explore and analyze data from multiple sources, and elevate the conversation with clients
  • Provides oversight of A/B testing (using Adobe Target) recommendations & insights, collaborating with Web Product team as needed
  • Integrate with Web Product and UX teams to ensure enhancements/new features are designed with KPIs and performance targets in mind
  • Responsible for documentation of web analytics requirements for new components and marketing campaigns, such as event tracking, short URLs creation, custom tracking etcand ensure tracking is in place at go live.
  • Provide support to Web Product and growth marketing teams on project specific analysis.
  • Dashboards & Reporting:
  • Produces custom Adobe reports/dashboards, provide trend analysis, manage overall report schedule, validates that automated reports are running, delivers any manually built dashboards, responds to ad hoc web report and marketing campaign related requests
  • Works with department or team member clients to define & distribute reports/dashboards; collaborates with customers to interpret the findings as needed.
  • Ensures all campaign channels and tactics are tracked and fed into campaign dashboards. Partners with web and IT teams to publish all updates needed for campaign optimization. Provides analysis as needed for all SHC web entities, stanfordhealthcarealliance.org, stanfordhealthcare.org, stanfordhealthcarequality.org, carecounsel.com, and other partner sites.
  • Paid Search Campaigns (Search Engine Marketing):
  • Support Web Product Manager (Search) with appropriate data and analysis support in collaboration with agency and performance analytics team
  • Compiles performance data from campaigns to measure success and incorporate best practices in future campaigns.
  • Search Engine Optimization:
  • Compiles and supports SEO data to evaluate overall performance using variety of organic search measurement tools


Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, business administration, computer science or closely related field.


Experience Qualifications
  • Eight (8) years of directly related experience working with multiple large data sources and combining relevant information to generate insights from analysis; creating effecting reporting solutions (i.e. dashboards, reports etc.).


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated understanding of data structures and leveraging analytics tools to derive insights for various audiences including stakeholders in marketing as well as departments outside of marketing such as parking & transportation, billing, patient experience and more.
  • Demonstrated strong project management background, abilty to switch tasks quickly and efficiently in areas such as web analysis requests, marketing campaign requests, web experience projects, and A/B testing initiatives, while keeping analytics enterprise initiatives moving forward.
  • Proven statistical analytical skills such as A/B testing, clustering, trend analysis.
  • Expertise in leading implementations of marketing platforms including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce as well as survey platforms like Foresee.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools including: SAS, SQL, Python or R.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools including: Tableau or Domo.
  • Understanding of Adobe SDR and eVar defintions is required .
  • Well versed in presentation-making skills that present data in a compelling way to influence marketing decisions.
  • A passion for making data-driven decisions, has strong communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • An understanding of master data management principles and data governance best practices.
  • A good understanding of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholder and senior leaders, and manage organizational change.
