We’re looking for an experienced Market Insights Researcher to help us explore understand and reinvent everything from the way money works to a bunch of even more ambitious things we can’t talk about yet. We’re looking for an inquisitive independent explorer who believes in a tomorrow where cryptocurrency spreads wealth inclusively and enables new forms of creativity.

If you are someone who is passionate about research relentless about uncovering consumer insights and translating numbers to actions and a great believer in consumer centricity and putting the consumer at the heart of everything we do then we would love to meet you!

This is a fully remote position.

The opportunity

• Champion consumer centricity be the voice of the consumer and actively advocate for democratize and evangelize research across the organization

• Ensure that the consumer is at the heart of our decision making

• Capitalize on broad and in depth experience across various qualitative and quantitative research to uncover meaningful and actionable insights that drive growth

• Apply critical and strategic thinking to help  shape brand product and marketing strategies

• Develop and share compelling consumer stories to ensure the consumer is at the heart of everything we do

• Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure research outcomes are aligned with business objectives

• Manage and collaborate with external vendors to ensure flawless and timely execution

• Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Skills you should HODL

• 8+ years of experience in Consumer Market Research & Insights

• 3+ years of experience in data manipulation tools like Python and Excel

• A passion for Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency movement with a desire to make Kraken the best trading platform in the world

• Informed about current and emerging trends in crypto FinTech product development trends in Market Research

• In depth experience developing managing and executing strategic research initiatives across brand product and communication using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies

• Proven track record in collaborating with business stakeholders to identify critical knowledge gaps that inspire meaningful research plans

• Proven track record in translating research findings to actionable insights and powerful stories that help shape product and marketing strategies

• Expert knowledge of brand building marketing principles

• Proven track record in strategic thinking storytelling and consultancy
