Abiomed is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Market Intelligence Manager individual with strong analytical skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and advance the market and clinical analytics maturity across the enterprise. You'll help us create and deliver insights that advance our "patients first" culture and competitive position in the market. The team serves as the company's analytic center of excellence, translating data into high-value, actionable insights for senior leadership and business partners.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience analyzing large-scale data sets and has demonstrated examples of translating data analyses into insights that drive transformational business outcomes. You'll collaborate with a team of dedicated analysts and partner with business stakeholders to evaluate market and clinical questions, design and implement analytical solutions and deliver actionable insights relating to clinical outcomes, market transformations, customer acquisition and retention, marketing efficacy and other related topics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leverage international electronic medical record (EMR), claims, and hospital purchasing data to generate actionable insights related to best practices, patient outcomes, and industry trends to drive company strategy and adaptability in the MedTech industry
• Collaborate with clinical teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior business leadership to collect business requirements and exploratory hypotheses
• Perform proactive, multi-factor analyses combining data from multiple sources to provide insight into the business, appropriate recommendations, and drive company strategy
• Monitor academic publications and clinical trials, as well as relevant regulatory and reimbursement requirements, to incorporate into analyses
• Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to senior and mid-level leadership to support evidence-based and data-driven decision-making
• Establish and implement a strategy for gathering/managing data requirements and disseminating analytics across Abiomed
• Drive project milestones to completion. Build, maintain, and promote cross-functional partnerships. Define accountability and lead activities to operationalize strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• BA/BS in an analytic discipline (intelligence, statistics, data analytics, data science, public health, biostatistics, medical research, etc), MA/MS preferred
• 4+ years of work experience in intelligence, market analysis, data analytics or related field
• Quick learner, critical thinking mindset, highly adaptable, able to manage competing priorities, excellent presentation skills
• Real world data experience preferred (EMR/EHR, medical claims, pharmaceutical, etc.)
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, MSPower BI, ESRI ArcGIS, Palantir, i2 Analyst Notebook)
• Experience with advanced analytic techniques and methodologies (e.g., predictive modeling, statistical analysis, customer segmentation, multi-variate analysis, analysis of competing hypothesis, social network/link analysis, market analysis, data validation, threat and risk analysis, multi-source confidence and corroboration)
• Preferred prior experience with data querying, structure, and cleaning
• Preferred proficiency in MS Excel, experience with SQL or statistical modeling
• Experience with and/or interest in the medical and biotech industry a plus
