TheSr.Marketing Analyst,Email Automationwill work with internal key stakeholders to understand business and campaign requirements for deployment and automation of customer lifecycle journey communications and email campaigns. The candidate will successfully develop, execute, and optimize all aspects of the campaign operations process end-to-end, including: requirements gathering and documentation, list development and segmentation, content creation and personalization, customer journey workflows, journey automation, quality assurance testing, inbox deliverability, measurement, and optimization.

What You'll Do

• Conduct marketing business process discovery sessions and develop the functional and technical requirements for projects
• Translate requirements into marketing email automation solutions/logic with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development team to automate or/and program
• Work with internal IT and operations team to develop APIs for customer data to flow into email platform
• Experience using the automation tools within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot (or a similar system) including: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Analytics Builder, Audience Builder and Data Designer
• Work with internal creative team or agency to develop customer lifecycle communications and creative
• QC, proofread and edit html email content to ensure error-free work goes out
• QC monthly journey automations to ensure current automations are running properly and trouble shoot with stakeholders and Salesforce Marketing Cloud team for fixes.
• Track, analyze and interpret key performance metrics (including open, click and conversion rates, subscriber retention, among others) on all email campaigns to provide actionable insights and optimization ideas for continuous improvement
• Build and maintain email segmentation / lists to create and enhance customer engagement & retention with email campaigns
• Ability to build emails in HTML or within Content Builder on an ad hoc basis

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3-5 years of email and technical marketing experience and a passion for digital marketing
• Experience with or knowledge of email marketing automation & advertising technology platforms
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Java, SQL programing language
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Strong client management and scoping experience
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid project management skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and exceed client expectations and project goals
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and phenomenal communication skills - written, verbal and non-verbal
