Sr. Marketing Coordinator

What You'll Do: As a Sr. Marketing Coordinator, you will lead the development, coordination and implementation of membership retention and acquisition efforts. You will also coordinate marketing events and sponsorships and assist in joint marketing and communication strategies that support the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation's strategic plan. Other duties include:

• Manage all aspects of the member benefit partner program and maintain close relationships with member benefit partners.

• Negotiate agreements with new and existing partners keeping the benefit of members top of mind.

• Develop and implement joint marketing strategies with member benefit partners to enhance retention and acquisition efforts.

• Develop annual utilization reports and provide analysis.

• Lead in the planning and execution of tradeshows/events/partnerships including managing/monitoring budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecast, identifying and managing partners and event vendors, coordinating themes, activities, schedules and volunteers.

• Monitor marketing trends and help develop market segmentation and communication strategies for identified markets.

• Help develop and execute plans and strategies that assist with member acquisition and retention at the county and state level.

• Manage promotional materials including inventory, pricing, placing orders etc.

• Manage relationships with outside vendors.

• Write, produce, and disseminate engaging content for marketing and outreach materials

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Four- year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications with 5- plus years of related work experience.
  • Self-starter, capable of delivering creative ideas with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be energetic and have strong verbal and written skills.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing marketing events and campaigns.
  • Experience working with large budgets and forecasting.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
