What you'll be doing

As a member of Baxter's Global Infusion Pumps and Access Innovation and Pipeline team you will be responsible for the development of the Global Evidence Generation strategy (GEGs) for our new pumps, IV sets, and digital assets. GEGs is essential for launch success as it supports the clinical and economic value propositions that drives revenue for new products, which is based on solving for our customers unmet needs.

The marketer in this role will be responsible to work with Medical, Regulatory, Human Factors, Market Access, and other cross functional teams to develop a process to build a GEGs plan, be responsible for the execution of the plan, and build commercially focused tools and training for our downstream commercial teams. The GEGs plan will be forward thinking by detailing data needed pre-launch, launch, and post-launch.

We are seeking a versatile individual with strong marketing background and expertise in developing Global Evidence Generation strategies, leading cross functional team to support the execution of the data plan, and articulating to sales teams how to use data with customers.

  • Develop the Global Evidence Generation strategy process and execution plan for Global Infusion Systems & Access team
  • Work with the global and country commercial and medical teams to understand the data needed to support clinical and economic value propositions
  • Prioritize the desired data by collecting voice of customer
  • Create global advisory boards to support GEGs and new product development activities
  • Convert data / studies into commercial tools
  • Train downstream teams on data
  • Advise local communication teams on the data plan and support use at local conferences, publications, etc.
  • Develop KPIs and measure impact of data

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience in commercial global evidence generation development. At least five years' business experience with two+ years' experience with new product launches and working with key opinion leaders.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative assessment skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to develop strategic plans.
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of external healthcare business environment
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, marketing, business, or science/technology required. MBA or post graduate marketing qualification preferred.
  • Experience in the new product development or medical devices industry.
  • Requires five or more validated years of business experience.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $112,000 to $216,000 plus an annual incentive bonus and equity target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
